I originally figured that we would see Grixis Bolas, Naya Samut, and gods in the other three shards, but that art sure doesn't mesh with that theory.

It could be a 5 color cycle, like Chandra's Defeat being red and dealing X damage to target creature or planeswalker, plus a bonus for burning Chandra. That'd be cool.

Exile white permanent, Destroy black permanent seem like the obvious ones for Liliana's Defeat and Gideon's Defeat.

Not sure what Chandra's and Nissa's would be.

BTW, both to achieve the goal laid out for reducing the total volume of the GW in print and for general storytelling purposes, the Siege Perilous routine is absolutely the best possible thing they could do with the characters right now. Opens up a ton of options for future sets.

This is like when the Enterprise is blown up at the end of a two-part episode, nobody was ever actually gonna think they were dead.

There are four set promos revealed: Ramunap Excavator (the Crucible on Legs) is for the Launch Party, Wildfire Eternal is for the Buy-a-Box, and Abrade and Adorned Pouncer are for Game Day. That should be all of them at this point.
