What are ther differences between the tiers on the PES universe option files? I tried to check the site but it seems to be borked.

I'm not 100% whether this will fix it but when importing the Bundesliga teams you have to tick option 2 on the import settings (update players or something like that). That may work.
Don't use that option for the rest of the teams though as Live Update handles those, so import Bundesliga teams separately.
Hah I have the same photo on my phone after I landed Messi and have Liverpool as my team too.

Think it's mainly getting updates early. I think they should be releasing the main one to free members soon, but won't include Bundesliga.
Hahaha. It's the German top division which isn't in the base game. All transfers are done with the live official update once you connect to the servers.
So I have imported the pesuniverse OF on PC but when I go to EPL it still has Man Red and Man Blue, am I missing something here?
edit: I think there is something wrong with the pesuniverse option files when trying to use them on PC, I keep getting failed to import and failed to load.

Did you keep gsync on, vsync adaptive? Did you put fixed refresh rate on the monitor? That fixed my problem
I don't have a gsync monitor, I have locked it to 60 via RTSS and put it to adaptive via control panel :-/
Also MyClub hates me! 3 black balls and all 3 keepers.
I'm not sure why, but I'm really struggling to get into this game.
Visually I think its really inconsistent. I feel like it looks worse than the demo. Especially playing as my own team, Sheffield Wednesday, even with the option files installed the kits look kinda ropey and the player likenesses are terrible (even from a "close enough" point of view, obviously none of our players have scanned faces). I feel like there's quite a large visual gap between playing as other teams - even with an OF installed - and how Konami WANT the game to look while playing as Barca, Dortmund or Liverpool at their grounds.
Im also getting a lot of stuttering and slow down during games. It's difficult to describe but the game isn't running smooth for me at all times on PS4 Pro.
There's also this period every year, which I always forget about, where I don't feel like I can enjoy the game properly yet until the Option Files sort out EVERYTHING. Ideally I want to start a Bundesliga Master League and to never have to come across a fake team while I'm playing it, but that's not realistic to expect for a while yet. I've done my annual 3 games of MyClub before realising it's not for me.

What's also not helped is that in frustration with PES I re-downloaded the FIFA 18 demo and turned ALL assist to manual, which I've never done before and no idea why I've just done it now. I fucking loved it, and it fixed almost all my issues with that game.
Ugh. Really undecided right now. Feel like I'm forcing myself to enjoy it at a time when FIFA has thrown it's hat back into the ring out of nowhere.

My tips:
- Have 2 squads so you can alternate between them to give players rest
- Start with online trial cup as you get 50000 gp for 5 games win or lose
- save your coins for a decent manager or better special agents
- use advanced tactics to give yourself a bit more tactical flexibility as the general tactics are locked to the manager
- have a weak bench in your squads as it will keep the team level down and you'll get put against other weaker teams (on modes that restrict the team level like divisions)
- Contract renewals can be harsh, particularly for high rated players, so leave yourself a decent buffer of 10,000-20,000 gp or so to stop yourself getting caught out.
- Use this for scout combinations to get the best players https://forums.pesfan.com/showthread.php?266509-Scout-Combinations . Some are obviously outdated, but you get the idea.

There is a bug on the PC version that prevents importing certain stadium/manager images. It's a pain but if you go through all the folders and delete the manager/stadium images it will import. Or you can wait for a patch/updated OF.

Think you have to set native res in Windows to the desired res first then you can change it in the PES settings before starting the game. Bit of a pain in the arse.

I agree completely. Don't think I've ever bought a top world-class player in ML. Always started with the default players, bought youngsters with loads of potential and trained them up to be world-class. Players like Baumjohann <3.

Offline is very good, but the online is so disappointing. The beta was fantastic, the matches were slower paced and you could play possession football if you wanted, but there's absolutely no point in doing so on the full game. Every single match is just a cross fest because it's broken and the easiest way to score.
I think I'll stick to MyClub and co-op.

I'm feeling similar. Maybe a decent OF will sort it out, usually I return to PES after a few weeks of FIFA since that sharp sickens me of the game.
For downsampling? Yeah should be able to go to 4k

Seriously? Arsenal are licensed but Kolasinac and Wilshere have fake faces?
Also, Community Shield and Chelsea already have Mane. Can't even disable the window in the 1st season like you can on FIFA :/

Nice. I had De Bruyne from the myclub black ball challenge. Absolutely ripped teams apart whilst having him with Pogba on loan.
