So... I'm kinda confused here, was there ever any trigger warnings for Last of Us 2 where you : Stab a pregnant women, stab a POC, kill multiple people in horrific ways, stab dogs, torture people,.
On to the main point though... they kinda misinterpret story though , and even how one of the main villains exist but lol.
Also expecting a clean happy story of survival from Eastern Europeans is laughable. We're literally misery.

The Era thread itself I has quite a few balanced opinions on it with explanations of what actually happens in the game and how it plays out and portray it when you actually finish the game (the streamer didn’t), with quite a few people being called out for emotionally reacting without having played the game.
The funniest bit is various people getting upset at someone saying “This woman” purely as a descriptor as part of a sentence and obviously having no deeper meaning.

I think it's the opposite. The posts they've made recently have been far more obnoxious. They've picked out a post that isn't as damning to give a short timeout to make it look like they're doing something. But made it very general so it doesn't 'add up'.

It's laughable it really is. What do people on Era expect? A deep examination of rape culture, paedophillia and cycles of abuse? It's a fucking video game.
The only thing shocking to me is the sheer amount of hyperbole in those tweets and the smoothbrained take that this game enforces a message wherein "victims of trauma will ALWAYS continue the cycle of abuse, are incapable of moving past what happened to them, and that the only way to stop the cycle of abuse is to die."

I really doubt it. GAF did not treat developers that great back in the day- Dyack For or Against debacle, Cliffy B reportedly hated this place and said other developers did too, Jeff Bell (not a developer but a business guy) didn't have a good time. I think most online or fan outreach is gonna be through twitter nowadays.

There has been multiple threads over the years of them getting upset that villains in stories are shitty people. They get very upset when fiction isn't real life but at the same time love anime and superheroes with made up powers and abilities.
