I’m floored. I would really like to know the demographic of that board. I mean if you cant have sexual representation in a game, then I guess you have to take it out of all media. TV Movies Ads. Then what..... I get the concept of not objectifying women or even men, but to eliminate any reference to it is just weird. I mean in gaming, if I’m playing a 3rd person perspective game, I literally stare at said character for hours... so why not make it attractive.They acted fast to save lives!

They seem to very much hate real women and anyone who is heterosexual. They complain there's not enough gay sex and romance in games and other media but a butt shot in a video game directly causes literal violence and death. It's the same thing when they support threads and content that sexualize men but a cardinal sin if you do it to a woman.

Also that women complaining about video games thread is easily the most openly toxic/hostile place on that forum. Always has been. How it is allowed to have a dedicated thread where you can just openly complain about other people in plain sight of everyone else is just mind boggling for a place that values civility over all and pretty much bans all meta commentary/backseat modding. Your ring leader is someone who was probably on staff at some point (Persephone) so it is okay fine by them I suppose. It is on there, though, because there's really no discussion to be had in threads like that. Only one opinion is allowed on that topic, so unless you go along with everyone else and repeat "this is good", posting in that thread is likely to result in a ban. I still can't believe that car loan is even legal. Must live in a state with next to no consumer / loan protections. I get Nepenthe doesn't earn much money, I grew up poor, shit sucks. But why settle? Jus keep catching the bus and save up another six months instead, build that credit and save for a larger down payment.
Ah well what the fuck am I talking about, this is Nepenthe. Far, faaaaaar from the sharpest tool in the shed and far from what one would consider a strong or dedicated person.
