In my 30s and it has indeed not held up but was expected. I've been shaving my dome since 19 or 20 years old so my reaction was:

34 and it is pulling back. Also a bald spot at the back of my head I like to pretend doesn't exist, that I only see rarely when photographed from a bad angle.

I think mine is norwood 1, creeping towards 2. I'm 29, could it be a maturing hairline instead? I once rocked a buzzcut so I guess I'd be fine if I went bald...

I have the longest hair I've ever had since I haven't gotten it cut since January of 2020. My hairline is great and both grandfathers kept their hair until death.

Same I probably have cut my hair twice since the pandemic started, and it has never looked better.
Used to be a monthly to every 3 week thing but screw that, I look awesome with longer hair.

My hair has always been quite thin, but I've always had it short (2 in school, down to a 0 now) so I don't care. If I didn't have such dark hair on white skin, I'd already be shaving it bald.
I will eventually shave it, because it's showing the beginnings of going patchy in places. The worst being the risk of separating the front of the hairline from the back, which is the tipping point. If my hair wants to be in two separate pieces, I don't want it at all.

My hairline is somewhat typical for a guy nearing 40 so that’s good. I’ve always had a widow’s peak but thankfully my boys have held the line.
Unfortunately the crown of my head has lost the battle it’s not great. It’s not completely bald (which is why it took me by surprise like 10 years ago since I feel hair there) but you can see the top of my head. I’m strongly considering spending the $3k+ to get plugs and be done with it since it’s just the crown and my relatives all have the same bald spot even into advanced age.

Been slowly thinning out since about 17 or 18..
I'm 37 now and on top is going bald and used to always shave it the last 10 years but since COVID I grew it. I got no idea what kids call their hairstyles these days but basically I have it shaved sides and back and and just scissor cut on top about as high as the thickness of a finger. You can see my balding in the middle going towards the back so I just comb or put a bit of wax in it to try and cover over it.
I think I'm going to end up needing to shave it for good soon. I maybe have a good couple of years before its a lost cause.

34 and it’s decent, but I’m balding up top pretty bad. I can blame my piece of shit father who I’ve never actually met in my whole life on this shitty hairline and going bald at my age. He was in his late 20s and balding as a motherfucker.
