It’s definitely a mission in the west to make women as masculine (or least feminine) as they can be, without turning them in a man after all.
I’m not going to complain about a strong woman, and some are great characters, but this is getting out of hand. They either make them manly or extremely feminine (like Japanese). Can we have a normal girl in the middle and just enjoy her character and the games?

They probably think Japanese games ARE hentai when 99% of the time the only overlap is art style. Merely having hips slightly wider than the waist or breasts that don't look exactly like chest is animated porn to these types of folks.
I am surprised Disney Pocahontas hasn't been labeled a hentai yet; give them a screen grab out of context and they'll think she's a tanned Japanese woman about to sex up John Smith while appropriating an Indian costume. They're that deranged at this point.

This is a mess, we went from a place of some people trying educate and change things to over reacting over nothing. I understand Rivet is purpule "ish" - usually a signal for female. The problem here is, it is hard to design a female version of a cartoon. I remember in university having to make logos for men and women bathrooms without using the old "skirt - pants". my colleagues even women were also having the same problem.

Chances are that guy is a tool and taking it too far but my point still stands that characters designed to make teen cock stand up straight is just as cringe as the opposite. They both suck.
Her design looks fine, and those designs look fine as well. However if they were going too far with it the guy would have a point. I dunno what was said in that room. Hell they could both be wrong.
But it seems some guys think I'm defending covering women up or some shit cuz I think designs like Quiet are indeed pretty embarrassing don't know what the fuck they're talking about. And Quiet actually is an attractive character, I'm not an idiot, I appreciate a good looking character but at the same time it's like why the hell would you actually go and make a design that's so shamelessly sexualized? And I don't really think it's a big deal that characters like Quiet exist either, people can do what they want, I'm just personally not a fan of it.
Again, both extremes are lame. If that triggers you then you're just as sensitive as the SJW types, just on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Unfortunately, it's everywhere. I can't even describe how much the corporate landscape has changed in many large US companies. The past 10 years have been downright scary. I don't know where this is going, but I don't expect anywhere good. But, you know, in the end the kind of things you see like this are dictated by society and are a mirror of society. From the historical perspective that doesn't bode well for us either.
