Man I desperately need more team slots. The 4 just aren't enough. Why even cap it out at such a small number if they're making us pause the game and go into a menu to switch them around to begin with. Just make like 16 slots or something.

Only now you guys are feeling the lack of team slots?
I was like that pretty much at start of the game lol.
And let me tell you, my feedback didn't work. Just like the Xynian ones.

Random but had a fun time reading about the fall of the Iwakura Clan. I didn't know the named Kairagi you kill across the islands were the last members of the Iwakura Art. Nor that Iwakura Doukei only got the name from Teruyo the Tengu after Chiyo's corruption and betrayal against the Shogun and the Maguu Kenki on Yashiori Island was developed to imitate his sword arts so is basically the last remaining "practitioner." Cool.

Mobile is like PC in the sense of you change graphic settings, in the Switch case IDK if Nintendo would allow such a thing, keep in mind that Genshin Impact runs using the 'amazing' Unity Engine and there is no DRS or dynamic setting, everything is static, Nintendo Switch hates that.

I really enjoyed 2/3 of the current event. The treasures and jade thing collecting is obvious, but it was also nice to go back to some of these areas that I never spend time in anymore. I actually found 4-5 regular chests I missed in Dragonspine by searching for the new ones. This should be an every patch feature. The camp extermination part was fun too, especially the dragonspine one since it had a boss at the end. It was nice that it wasn't timed too, just something you can complete and have fun with. I'm sure the guy that adds timers to events at MHY was sweating with his eyes bugging out by not being able to add a timer to it, since they had the mini air obstacle course sections between the camps.

The adeptal stove thing I could have lived without. I didn't realize until the Dragonspine one that you could shoot ice/fire arrows at the pots themselves to affect the temperature, without depending on the stupid flame DDR crap, or to make fine adjustments to the temp. If it had a bit more control and was more fleshed out, it could have been fun though. Like a team activity where you're under constant onslaught so everyone has to defend and keep an eye on the pots while you do the cooking. They didn't use the enemies enough, I feel.

Overall, not a bad event. All 3 parts were good, not great, and we got background Gooba, which was my personal highlight. Got Kokomi to 81 so I've been using her a bit for dailies. She's a mix of Mona and Barbara regarding her kit, kinda. Her biggest weakness as a Hydro applicator is that you can't move her jellyfish. They should have made it like Fischl where you can tap R2 to move it during its duration. The really frustrating part is that when you use your Burst, it refreshes the duration, but it leaves it in the original spot where you dropped it. By then, the fight could be miles away, making it useless.

New leaks/rumors of a brand new banner type after the Childe rerun:

The leaker is saying that after Childe's 2.2 rerun there's going to be a new banner type after 2.3 containing both characters and weapons?

The banner will contain characters that have already gone through 2 reruns (e.g. Childe) and it will have a similar mechanic to the Epitomised Path for the weapon banner currently. So these characters will no longer appear in the regular limited banner.

Not sure if anyone has uploaded this so I'm gonna put this here first.

I've read about this on the leak subreddit, but my problem with this leak is... there's only Childe that had 2 reruns. We'll have only 1 character in that banner at the beginning and for who knows how long?

That just means that we're due for more 2+ rerunners like maybe Klee, Zhongli, Venti, etc maybe? I can't see them putting the archons on a perma-banner, but it might be a rotating type.
 
Maybe it's translation issue and characters that would be getting their second rerun banner like Childe is now would be added there. That would be somewhat sensible
initial run - half a year or so - rerun - another half year - add to this perma banner.

Seeing the quality of Yoimiya, I can see her add to permanent banner.
She's a really strong character, it's just bow sucking as an auto-attack weapon and a few other issues with her kit that's the problem. She destroys single targets really fast as long as there's only one and they don't move much. It's comical how fast she can beat the weekly bosses up until Signora due to the Pyro half of the fight.

IMO she face the same problem as Keqing. They're both strong chars, imprisioned by game problems and totally ignored by balance team.

Yea. The only real summoning changes I'd like to see is the 3* weapons replaced with ore/xp writs/Mora and 1-2 times a year a guaranteed 5* banner with Genesis Crystals, similar to how Fate GO does it.

The worst part about this was that I'm so used to a time challenge that I kept trying to rush it and realized there is none. More or less agree with you though, I think this is the best event they've done yet that wasn't intrusive or felt low effort.

I'm torn. I have that Billet selector from the (I think) Windblume event or summer event, can't remember. Part of me wants to use it for a claymore refine for the Inazuma katana 2hander, but part of me wants to save it for a later added weapon so that I can make it immediately. Choices....

Also having a tough time figuring out what the hell to do with Qiqi. She has the Sacrificial Sword currently for more uptime of her elemental skill, but I dunno what to do with the rest of her stats. ATK and ER I guess?

We have at least 4 characters (Albedo, Ganyu, Xiao, Eula) due for a re-run relatively soon. That's without the Inazuman characters. If we're getting even more re-re-runs, the next 4 patches all the way 'till Sumeru would be filled with recycled banners. Either that or they would have to skip certain re-runs and risk angering their players.

Older characters should just be put on the standard banner on rotation. That way they're not shitting up the limited banner. Too bad such a change would come too late for this unnecessary Childe re-run. But it does sound like something MHY would do: Piss everyone off first and offer a half baked solution later.

I'm still hanging onto my billet selector. I only craft weapons when I have a specific need to when building a character in case something better comes along.

I haven't built my Qiqi so no idea.

I switched out Fischl and it didn't affect Baal so it isn't having 2 electro in the party.

Kinda weird that they're doing it this way if true. In Honkai the characters just get dumped to the standard banner after a while. Then again, this game has no way to farm shards to unlock characters like that game does, so it's hard to compare.

Well my point is to just leave it on the perma banner, so essentially just add Childe/Klee/etc to the perma banner, then add the 'path' mechanic to it. That guarantees that after 3 pities you get the character you want.

Interesting that we got different questions. I never got that one. It was the bog standard questions about the events, the patch, the characters. I let them have it about Sara's kit. I figure enough people will complain about Kokomi (and probably Shogun), so I might as well try to get birdwife a little representation. She doesn't even need THAT much, I would say extending her buff to 10 seconds, making her AoE explosion (that gives the buff) take longer than it currently does to explode so you have a chance to change characters and actually get in it, and making her Crit Dmg Buff on her C6 good for any element instead of just Electro. Then she'd be a perfectly viable buff bot at least. Anyways, it doesn't matter, it will get word clouded into "anniversary sucked" anyways.

Yeah I notice they do this a lot with different questions for different players, it's probably random. Likewise, had to voice issues about Sara since Anniversary and Kokomi will probably be the big talking point. It is crazy you need her C6 to be remotely workable as a character. Had to let them know that outside of Shogun the characters have been kinda disappointing from a kit standpoint, expected more when launch regions have had a better treatment. I know Tohma is supposed to be decent, but the next 5 stars have to not be like Kokomi (still going to make her work though).

Without changing her current equipment, strenght goes from about 1800 to 2200 between moving her out/in the party. Not really seeing much difference damage boost wise from a 2 pc Nobless/2 piece thundering fury set and the 4 piece emblem of severed fate even though the emblem of severed fate has a higher ER/strenght when she's in the party (I didn't check if this was going on with the nobless/thundering fury so there's a chance she had 2300 attack while in party at the time).

I don't always raise Zhongli's shield or sometimes it runs out and I don't raise it again so I keep a healer in the party.

Thoma is like a spit directly in the eyes of Xinyan fans. They pretty much gave her niche (shielder that applies Pyro) to him without the self-conflicting kit and made him work like a Pyro Xingqui which will make him a staple in Vape and reverse melt comps likely for a long time. Instead of just changing her stupid def scaling and making her a Pyro support that has a physical shred (still confuses me), they just said "screw it, let's do it right with Thoma".

They actually did the opposite with Kokomi and made her a worse Barbara somehow. Like you, I'll make her fit in a team somehow, but boy what a shitter for a limited 5*. Not being able to move her Jellyfish is the big head scratcher, especially since Fischl can already do it with Oz.

Regardless of those two though, Sara just doesn't make sense to have her be so badly designed. She's completely unusable as a DPS character with the bad multipliers, her backdash is still broken, and her penultimate constellation is a buff that really only Shogun can use since she's the only one with a big multiplier Electro hit that is frontloaded to fit within her stupid 6 second buff. 1/40th of the characters in the game. You're actively making any team with her worse just by including her. Electro traveler is a better Electro character for fucks sake.

That's not exactly a 25% buff, but its around there. The only thing I could think of is if the team you're moving her into has 2 Pyro characters for the 25% resonance atk buff, or if you're using food or something since it applies to the whole party.

Here's MHY's new project, a turn-based RPG spinoff of the Honkai universe. This one actually has characters from Honkai instead of just lookalikes like Genshin does. I am probably done with getting in to new MHY games, and they're probably going to kill off Himeko, the redhead again, like they've done in 2 games prior, so I'm pre-emptively out.

It's perplexing that they won't do balance changes, but I don't know if they ever did with Honkai. Although, different development teams so different philosophies I guess. It is inexcusable though that a Limited 5 star could be that and arguably worse than what's basically a welfare with Barbara.

Thanks for the info on the new Honkai game. I'm going to sign up for the beta since turn-based interests me and the aesthetic is cool.
