LOL, yeah. ERA is real inclusive. Just got reinstated there after a month long ban (first ever "offense" too, after years of memebership, no warnings or anything, I'm not the type to troll, or try to offend anyone), because I made the mistake of making a single post saying I generally wasn't offended by the "hot springs" scene in Tales of Arise (where the protag accidentally exposures himself to female party members, when he "forgets his towel upon leaving the spring", in a scene meant to be comedic), along with most of them in general in JRPG.

The context of my post even talked about how although I wasn't personally offended, I found these scenes generally infantile and mostly unfunny, and was just trying to contribute to the supposed "discourse" on the subject that these boards are supposed to be about, but you know, I guess because my reaction wasn't utter outrage and condemnation of the game, for one mildly comical minute of a 50 hour game, you get a no warning one month ban.

Alas, yeah, i frequent that place, as I frequent this place, because I love gaming and discourse around it, and these are the best communities to keep up with things, but its clear there what happens if you don't fit the (very specific) narrative that they want to promote there.

All the more ironic that they are looking to cash in with this deal.. I'm sure everyone at MOBA network must be an absolute saint, or ERA would have never taken their money, right?

They don't... They call each other sisters, bitches, girl and the like...

So if they were describing themselves or lifestyle to non-transvestites they'd say "I'm a sister or bitch"? Doesn't make much sense as I don't think anyone would know what that meant, but I'll take your word for it. I think it's more likely T***y was probably accepted in the 90's and 00's, but redefined in the '10's by social media SJW's to be offensive, like they've successfully redefined many words.

What the fuck, wheres the hot springs scene? I *think* Im close to the end and never saw it, maybe I skipped it, fuuuck. Does it show Kisara's behind even better?

And yeah, these scenes are a standard in most JRPGs (or beach scenes like in Persona), if people get triggered by that... lmao.

I don't understand how users are so afraid of a <data sell> when my bank account was charged for ResteraClear for 7 months, every month, after my account deletion, after monthly filed tickets as a non user, all before selling to MOBAfire was even a possibility. Yeah, that Florida company really likes to redflag 'troll accounts'.

Your data is now their data.

He most likely was banned for promoting slurs. Avatar quote means , look at his avatar--it's a picture of Charles Manson. The rest seems self-explanatory if you know who Charles Manson is. If you don't. Enjoy the read.
I'm very well informed about Charles Manson and his cult of follows. I just thought Mrs had a dark sense of humour, as ignorant as it might seem it never occurred to me from his posting habits that he might be a sympathiser to Mr Manson's ideologies etc.

We had a ban review thread where you could speak up for members that were banned if you thought it was unjust until some cunts ruined it. Cunts.

I would’ve done chargebacks. We know now Cerium can afford the fee.

I think you misquoted me? 😅

Yeah that was a bit too far, mod took care of the post.
Apologies fir that stupid take.

There’s a huge difference on having a take and literally using a word I know you never say in public.
Mod took care of it but the fact you typed and hit reply shows it’s not a take just you trying to use a slur since things are a little looser here. But slurs still are a no go and that goes outside a non-real place like gaf.

Treat people how you want to be treated.

We can still swear use funny jokes gifs, but still need to curb that kind of shit.

it’s all good.

No, they'll say they're trans and that's it. They won't use that slur. Get on with the times. There's no need to use a slur if you can use a nicer word.

They same-day reversed the charge every time i ticketed that shit, it got me thinking that they wanted something more than $2.99(?) from me. They finally stopped this month after I name dropped (no lies here) Nepenthe and B-Dubs 😂

Aren't drag queens a sub category of transvestites who do not consider themselves "tran" in the modern colloquial sense?
No, not at all. Drag queens are characters and it's an art form. Drag queens aren't transvestites. They're performers. Straight people can have a drag queen character.

My mistake, I have always seen them used interchangeably. Then what's the difference between a transvestite and transexual? I thought transvestite was the larger umbrella of transexual that included drag queens and cross dressers who did not consider themselves "tran".

You absolute monster.

The first rule of ResetEra is that the complainer/accuser in the OP is always right. It's a circle jerk, there are rules.

I saw someone get banned there for saying they didn't think Bernie Sanders was a racist.

He always struck me as one of the decent few on here. I can’t imagine why he suddenly came out with that.

Some people drink the tribalism Kool aid too much. Just because Era is full of idiots doesn't mean GAF is by definition mandated to be the polar opposite of all of their views and opinions. Using slurs is garbage behavior. Period.

I’m all for accessibility options.

Remove spiders is not one of them… that is the point… spider is an animal like any other else… you don’t need to devs to change their design to allow people with fear of spider to play it.

I have fear of frogs… I can touch ou get near 2 meter one… it is crazy my blood pressure even goes high when I see one… I enter in panic.

But that doesn’t make me want games to not have frogs.
If you are all for options then why be against an option to remove spiders? Its an option, its existence doesn't negatively impact players in any way.
As i said, the problem isn't the adding of the feature but the fact that there are 20 or so hypotetical people out there so fragile they can't handle a virtual spider on the other side of a screen.

God help them if they ever see a spider in their house, because there's no arachnophobia option in real life.
So if I understand you correctly, your issue isn't with developers making things easier for arachnophobes but with arachnophobes for simply existing in the first place?

Transexual is kind of like saying "colored" or "negro," it's not necessarily a slur but it's antiquated and people will wrinkle their nose at you. Transgender is the preferred term now. That's someone who identifies with and presents as a gender other than the one they were born.

A transvestite is someone who dresses in clothes of the opposite sex. Like someone who identifies as male but wears women's clothes either sometimes or all of the time. Most drag Queens identify as male in their regular everyday lives. The feminine personas are performance art. They don't actually live as women when they're not on stage. So they're transvestites.

But transgender people aren't considered transvestites. It's not cross dressing because they've assumed the gender that matches their presentation.
