I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
If you feel its not that challenging, try playing it on the hardest difficulty or go for G rank on all levels.
So far I think it's not too challenging, but not too easy either... I' e died a few times up until chapter 4, although I think I might not be very good at this game. :goog_relieved:

Quite the enjoyable experience so far. Game feels kinda janky or low budget some times, but it's still fun and a visual gem.

Kirby's Dreamland [Gameboy]
Ive owned this game since the 90s and never played thru it (never played thru any Kirby actually). Funny because it only takes about 15 minutes for a full run. Love the all the bosses and mini bosses - some of the best bosses of any Nintendo platformer - but the stages are just piss easy. Since Kirby can fly at will whats the point of the platforming?

Still overall, its one of my favorite Nintendo games and im mad i never played it all those years ago. I see theres a hard mode and that actually seems pretty tough. Will have to try it.

Halo Infinite [Series X]
Just barely started the campaign - too hooked on multiplayer. My 'like/dislike/kinda-like' shifted many times in the past month since the Infinite multiplayer released. All combined, this is absolutely the best Halo multiplayer since Halo 3 for me. Took me quite some time to the ins and outs - Im now posting consistent 20 kill round matches and my equipment game is on point.

I like games that have huge skill ceilings and competition to test against - and Halo is just the ultimate game for that. Just cant stop playing it, learning more, and getting better...

Finally accessed the new dlc area from Wounds of Eventide in Blasphemous. Getting there was some galaxy brain Dark Souls level of obtuse. Jesus Christ. And NG++ is not a pleasant experience. The game is really hard. A couple of hits and your toast.

Just finished the last of us 2 on ps5. I like it better then I thought. The only thing that bothered me was how unnatural abby's muscles where, she was more buffed then everybody else in the game. Now going to start guardians of the galaxy.

First boss from Wounds of Eventide is down. He was a tough cookie. And the new area before him was a huge letdown. Short and a pain in the ass. I've killed all three Amanecidas too. The last one was brutal. I'm getting my ass handed to me on a regular basis. I'm on the verge of giving up. It's just to exhausting and I love challenging games.

Halo Infinite on my legendary run. It's fun till you come across either the bosses that simply make no fun or ridiculous tough enemies. You really wanna tell me those invisible elites survive 2 rocket launcher hits when those 2 shots take out a fucking drop ship?

I've been bouncing around trying to figure out what to play after Vanquish (PS3) between Resident Evil 4(wii) Zone of Enders (PS2) Halo Infinite (XSX) and have somehow ended up on Prey(2006 PC) as my next game. (Wow, I guess I am old school.)

Finishing up Kena now (I just got the dash ability), working my way through Crosscode still, and recently bought Puzzling Places for PSVR (3D jigsaw puzzle game). It's extremely well made and has great use of audio.

Beat Isidora, voice of the dead, in Blasphemous. Both dlc-bosses are finished. At first I was like "this is going to be a hard one". She was very fast with the scythe and spew fireballs all over the place. But I killed her already on my fifth try. On the last stretch now. Gunning for the true ending and prepping for Blasphemous 2! Can't wait!

Damn that final fight in Kena gives me serious KH1 Ansem flashbacks. That was a nightmare. This isn't nearly as bad but brings back some memories.

Finished Blasphemous + Stir of Dawn + Wounds of Eventide and witnessed the true ending. Third playthrough. Amazing game but this round was quite brutal. I don't think I'm gonna subject myself to that kinda pain again. Until Blasphemous 2 that is. Bring it on!

Playing some One Deck Dungeon I bought off Steam for $1. I swear the dice are rigged to be low. Confusing game at first.

If any of you ever play it, skip reading the manual and just do the tutorial and dabble with it. The manual is way too wordy and overly complicated. The game itself isn't even that complicated when you get used to it. But the manual makes it sound like you're playing some WWII Avalon Hill game.

Just about to finally finish up the first half of Great Ace Attorney - which I’ll take a long break from before part 2 - also started FFX on switch, which I just got a random urge to play. It’s on gamepass, but there’s no way I’ll finish it without handheld mode (it was on sale and I got FF7 lined up to). Also playing The Gunk (it’s ok), Halo, and a bit of Forza and Skyrim. And still playing Super Mario party, clubhouse, and animal crossing with my daughter some times and we just got Lego Harry Potter on sale to play (she just got into the movies). Still have to go back and finish It Takes Two and Metroid. Love them but just kinda fell off. Oh and OOT on NSO. Oh and Paper Mario…..geez I’m not gonna finish more of these.

I started The Gunk. Haven't played much, not to chapter 3 yet. It's ok so far, not great. Some of the same concepts as Steamworld Dig. Go find stuff to collect, sometimes in somewhat hidden areas, to unlock upgrades for your equipment. So far I don't feel it works as well in 3D. The dialog is cringy y-a lesbian romance cheese. It's not a huge focus or anything, but they're constantly flirting and the main character's voice is incredibly annoying. I just muted the dialog. I'll keep playing it for now.

Dropped Firewatch at day 2. Very glad I didn't pay for it. Most modern video game writing is in the toilet nowadays and this was a prime example. It has zero subtlety to anything. Aside from that, it's kind a visual novel/walking simulator hybrid. Both genres fans go over the top in proselytizing their favorite genre, so of coarse the praise for Firewatch was over the top.

Thinking I'll start Kingdom Come Deliverance tomorrow. I've been wanting to try it recently.

Finally got the Series X last Friday so I've been hopping back and forth between Halo CE Anni and Skyrim on the PS5, depending on how my mood is.

Want to replay Halo CE + 2 + 3 + 4 before jumping into the ones I haven't played to so far - 5 and Infinite.

btw.: Holy Shit at those game sizes on the Xbox. MCC was 100 gigs already and then Halo 5 is laos almost 100 gigs... What the hell?

Call of Duty Vanguard MP, which is free to play at the moment

And contrary to my expectations I have a blast with it. They simply don't take it seriously and in my opinion it works. Its just mayhem. I played MW2019, my last CoD, for 4 months straight when it launched but I also hated a lot about it. Players would hide in corners, taking potshots at anyone who was stupid enough to run out. I hated how the mechanics and maps enforced camping. In Vanguard everyone is just running out to kill or get killed and snipers don't seem to be effective here at all. Spawns are awful but you'll get someone to shoot at within seconds anyway.

Already rank 45, lol.

STALKER, Escape from Pripyat mod.

Finally got a new rig and am enjoying this cranked all the way up at 1440 on a 32”. Which incredibly, with many reshade tweaks on, can even bring a mighty 3080ti to its knees (or could be a processor bottleneck as I hear the Monolith engine only utilizes one thread). I get a fairly solid 60fps at all times, but Rostok in a storm at night with many NPCs and lighting can drop me into the low thirties on occasion.

But still, one of the most immersive and engrossing gaming experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly won’t much care if STALKER 2 sucks considering the passionate modding community towards the original, which if recent news is any indication, probably will.

Just finished up Skyward Sword, had some fun but ultimately it’s down there with Wind Waker as my least favorite 3D Zelda games. Think I am going to play Okami to get over it and get a real taste of 3D Zelda back into my life. I never finished it, but I remember enjoying it a lot back upon release.

I still have this game! It is one of my favorite platformers and I beat it way too many times as a kid. The platforming is easy though since, as you said, you can just fly. I remember cheesing the last boss by flying up in the corner to a point where he couldn't reach me.

Started playing FF7: Remake on PC. Performance is barely acceptable. Combat is pretty bad. They took the worst of both real-time and turn-based combat to make some sort of abomination. I play in classic normal and it seems like that is the intended way to play.

Might jump into the original FF7 once I finish the remake just to see how it is different. Never finished it before.

Finished Kena today. That second to last boss was a tough one.
Bought that for my wife for Christmas, was gonna recommend that she play on Easy? Sound about right?

She's doesn't game much but is good, beat Mario Bros 3 the other day. I just hate hearing her rage, lol.

Chugging along with the RE7, this time with help of "walk-thru". (my first RE game that I am relying on a walk-thru because I'm too scared)
Thanks to that - I think I am gaining the traction and will likely be able to finish the game in a few more sessions.. and taking in no shame of retries. (I really am terrible at FPS games)
Currently, I'm about to confront that crazy son in that madhouse... so I guess I'm in about 60-70% into the game?

It's been a long long while since I got this grossed out in any video games, especially in a RE series - which I normally expect 20% scare, 80% cheese... and while there are still cheesy stuff in this game, I'm genuinely scared in a lot of locations. The game changes its pitch and different phobias nicely too - at least so far. Now in that madhouse, it feels like I'm in a movie "SAW".

Not just the visuals - but also the sound design has to do with a lot in creating such atmosphere... I mean that the house, creaks and sudden window bangs and all - always startle me quite a bit. Sound design of this game, has really really impressed me so far (and hating it too)

I do wish the camera angle was little wider though - maybe it's because I'm playing VR edition (using non VR mode)... but I doubt it's anything different...
One of the thing I am still not used to blocking is I can't see anything when I block since the camera angle is so narrow. I really have to force myself to remind that "block" is there. But a lot of times, I end up losing the orientation after... and mostly, I squat unintentionally - because I'm too tense, and try to run away.... by pressing L3 (run), but because I'm too scared, I press R3 (squat) at the same time. Not being able to button map is another thing, but I think it's the dev's cruel joke on the players like me. Occasionally it makes the enemy miss his swing by luck, but I feel so... literally belittled, after squatting down and trying run away but moving at snails pace, panicking... lol. (Wish there was a replay function from 3rd person perspective - it would be pretty funny)

While I miss my RE staple characters, but I have to be honest. I don't like FPS genre, but this is one of the best RE game that I've played so far. If I was good at fps aiming with pad, I would have been more competent...

Yeah I'd recommend Easy overall then. The boss fights can be tough at times, plus you often have to walk a bit and skip a cutscene after each failure which is super annoying. She could also start off on Normal and turn down when needed.

Just a heads up about this game. It sells for $20 if you want physical, $10 digital, I got it for $1 on Steam. Digital is the way to go. No way I'd play a game like this physical rolling a million dice and lining them on cards every 10 seconds.

Finished the game. You can replay it with different characters and skill levels, but I had enough playing Warrior and Novice. There's not a lot of variety in monster/trap cards anyway.

But worth it for $1. lol. I'm done with the game. Is it worth $10? Not if you only go through it once like me. If youre a hardcore deck card gamer playing different characters and difficulties, ya you'll get your moneys worth.

The game has rigged dice too. So if you dont like dice games and hate rigged rolls even more. Avoid. I could tell something was off the first 5-6 matches I played and the stats screen actually shows dice rolls. Sure seemed I was getting lots of 1s and 2s. Yup, I was right. Check out this distribution. Now for the hydra level, your hero dice get -1, so that might account for some 6's being 5's. But in no way would it make up the difference. To balance that off, one of bosses has you get rid of all 1s rolled too (hero dice or not). Yet still got tons of 1s rolled.

Mass Effect 1 - Legendary Edition (Series X). I finished ME2 & ME3 on PS3 back in teh day but I never got round to finishing the first game. The Legendary Edition version is pretty good.

I played a couple hours of The Gunk. It's not bad, kinda chill, but I don't find the vacuuming particularly exciting.

Picked up Ghost Recon Breakpoint new for $4 on Amazon. Was gonna start a new thread of this being a perfect example of why I never will go fully digital (it’s still $99 on PSN). Trying to play it on the immersion mode, one bullet kills etc. I still suck at it and figuring out how it all works, but I think it’s probably got potential to be some decent mindless entertainment. A game not to get too invested in but pick up and play. Would love to find someone to play coop with.

In the mood for some adventure games, so I launched Syberia, which was included in the last Humble Bundle I purchased. For some reason the game won't start, so I fell back on the GOG version that has been sitting in my library for as long as I can remember. :messenger_grinning_squinting:
The game builds an interesting universe. But there is a dichotomy between the somewhat realistic characters and their actions, which are very... "videogamey". I am not very far in the game, but so far it feels like a weird dream.

Neighbours from Hell
Started GotG. Liking it so far. Doubt I’ll love it, because I don’t think the combat is great and it’s heavily driven but story and dialogue, but I think I’m definitely going to like it all the way through.

There’s a lot of indie games that came out recently that I want to try. But man they’re expensive for indie games. So I’m debating buying them at full price and diving right in or just waiting until their inevitable physical releases. I don’t like buying indie games at full price because I eventually buy all them in physical releases for my collection anyway.

I really want to try Aeterna Noctis and Record of Lodoss War Deelit.

Yesterday I started plying Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. I did so just after watching the movie, since I never had contact with the anime, and it sure helped with getting into the game.

Game itself is pretty fun, basically a Yakuza game but being able to blow people up with your fingers. Good shit so far.
