Monolith Soft don't even need to announce Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Let's have that new IP they were working on. They've done enough and their track record is so good that they've earned a purchase on faith alone from me.

Anything from Monolith Soft, and I'm good. A new Fire Emblem has also been rumored, but instead of a completely new one, maybe it's time for another remake? Since 1-3 have already been remade, maybe Genealogy of the Holy War would be next?

I'm expecting a mention of Kirby and Triangle Strategy and a official date for Advance Wars. Some new games should be shown as well, but nothing too big. Would love a collection of NES Remix.

Legit some of the most fun I had on the Wii. Online was mostly solid as well. It had 2v2 online matches that were a lot of fun. My buddy and I got ranked in the top 200 at one point and we kept losing to a guy who made his mii look like Owen Wilson. That son of a bitch.

Directs have been FIRE recently. I think low expectations are out of order. People can afford to be a little bit hyped.

Not really hyped.

I mean, I would have been if Xenoblade wasn't marketed for otakus after the Switch episode... Such a disappointment after Xenoblade Chronicles X.
And it seems Nintendo won't let Monolith do anything else than Xenoblade, so that medieval project A-RPG must have been canned unfortunately. The one project I was super hyped about. I must admit, I still hope that the new Xenoblade is just the medieval ARPG using the name for recognition.

Aside from that, I'm really curious about Zelda BotW 2 even if I'm really disappointed since the reveal that it will use the same map (even with changes). My hype cannot reach the same heights it had with the first BotW due to that. But I doubt we'll see it in this direct. Nintendo will keep it for the E3 direct. Hence no hype.

Same for Metroid Prime 4, E3 or bust. But not too hyped about this too. I mean, we already have three FPS opus. What can a fourth episode in the same style bring to the table ? I would have dreamed of a third person camera (same as Zelda) game that retains her mobility and the platforming aspect from Super Metroid, which was sorely missed from the Prime series.

I guess I would really love a new DK 3D. Not 2D please, as excellent as those games are, the concept has been overdone now and I don't think it would add anything new on the table. Just more of the same.

Kirby is a good example, just look at the hype (all things considered) the Forgotten Land got just because it was 3D, giving a new dimension (no pun intended) to the formula.

Yoshi should also make the jump to 3D, but I guess they prefer to use him for each 2nd entry of a new Mario series à la Mario Galaxy 2. Looking forward Odyssey 2 then.

Well, I guess I can still dream about a new Earthbound 3D remake (with Smash art style), would love to see this world fully realized in 3D.
