They announced it too late, wannabe leakers didn’t even had time to make some photoshopped leaked lists. I remember those for Sony where all of them were fake.

predictions:

  • Kirby
  • Wii U port (not much left, so I'll go with Xenoblade Chronicles X)
  • Splatoon 3
  • Zelda BOTW 2 mention, maybe Gameplay
  • Zelda HD Collection (consists of TW HD and WWHD)
  • Advance Wars
  • one surprise (new announcement, my guess is Captain Toad 2 or a new Donkey Kong)
  • reminder that Pokemon Arceus is out
  • Mario Golf update
  • Mario Party update
  • Triangle Strategy
This is a very good realistic take to be honest. I’d like a Mario Party update too, wife and I have played the boards to death already.

Musou games are like junk food. They taste good, but they won't really fill you up and have poor nutritional values if you know what I mean.

Expecting a lot of Rabbids. Which is fine, because the first game was such a pleasant surprise. I expected nothing from it and found a pretty fantastic game.

Everyone is talking about announcements for games we KNOW are not coming out in the first half of 2022 which the direct specifically states is what it covers. We are NOT getting MK9 or BOTW2 info.
I expect:
Kirby
Triangle strategy
Advance wars
Majoras Mask drop
Announcement for next N64 and genesis game/s
Random Indy games
Zelda remake of some kind (WW/ TP)
Some Fire Emblem announcement

I truly believe if we get the Zelda remake announcement, it will mean BOTW2 is still scheduled to hit this holiday. If we don't, I expect the remake announcement to happen around E3 time along with a big reveal of botw2/ delay announcement for early 2023.
I think we will see rabbids in June with a holiday release.

Realistically what are the chances for substantial BotW2 info?

Or will it just be Aonuma standing in front of drywall saying "We have nothing to show at this time, but are happy to report development is progressing nicely. More to be revealed this summer."
