And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?

The way it should be. Always Demon’s.

You had Metal Wolf Chaos, but not their other equally janky game Ninja Blade?

Anyways, it's Elden Ring.

i'm enjoying Elden Ring but there are issues. I want Elden Ring 2 to address them.

while the open world is a good change for these games i keep finding myself thinking of Bloodborne/Sekiro. they are tight balanced games.

if we don't get ER2 i want something like BB/sekiro but with a much larger map but not necessarily open world. Keep it linear but make the individual locations much larger in scale and depth.

Bloodborne is a perfect game aside from performance issues. Such a shame it is likely stuck on the PS4 the foreseeable future.
i can only hope sony, after the success of Elden Ring, will be working towards a remaster/remake of Bloodborne and/or a sequel. If they are doing a sequel then they have to get From Software on board to do it. I don't want any other studio doing it. it'll be difficult to convince From Software to do it unless Sony through a shit load of $ at them. Sony has had the chance to push Bloodborne over the best part of the last decade but they would rather pretend the game doesn't exist.

IMO each title has its pros and cons, so it's really hard to just choose one as "the best" as none of them are perfect, but are still phenomenal.

If I ABSOLUTELY had to choose, I'd probably say Demon's Souls. Because it's the one that really started it all for FS.

I DO wanna add that of all the games, Elden Ring is the first one I've put 200+ hours into and 100%'d.

Personally I didn't care for anything From Software had done prior to Elden Ring, but ER is clicking with me being open world. Having said that, I might have to go back and try some other From games when I'm done with ER and see if it somehow changes my perspective on things.

Bloodborne and Dark Souls 1 are still the best of the best From Software games I don't care what anyone says. I'm talking from experience with having platinum'd all Soulsbornekiroring games and I have studied all there lore deeply and have seen nearly all cut content and videos out there to form my opinion although I am aware Elden Ring is still fresh so I'm going to give it another few months to rate it but for now these two are way above all the others. I love all of them though just fyi

I have only played King’s Field, Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. For me Elden Ring is not only the best out of those but one of the best games of all time. Can’t stop playing it. Can’t stop thinking about it. Can’t stop being impressed by it. Can’t stop thinking it’s quite possibly the most worthy GOTY contender I’ve ever experienced.

Demon's Souls and Bloodborne both have special places with me. Demon's Souls got me into this genre and Bloodborne elevated it to a pinnacle that lasted almost 7 years, with some of the most memorable moments I've ever had in gaming. But I have to say that Elden Ring, against all odds, managed to top it for me.

If it weren't for bosses, Elden Ring would be 1st.

But since bosses suck, then Bloodborne is the superior FromSoft game: game design, balancing, dificulty, bosses, level design, music, art; everything is almost perfect.

My rank would be:

1st: Bloodborne
2nd: Elden Ring
3rd: Sekiro
4th: Dark Souls
5th: Dark Souls 2
6th: Dark Souls 3
7th: Demons Souls

Even tough I enjoyed the hell out off ER and finished it after 200h,I still think Dark Souls 1 remains the best, for me.
For me,top 3 From games are:

1: Dark souls 1 - Nothing beats that interconnected layout, the very different zones, from deep underground to the very top,it`s just so so good.
2: Elden Ring - Epic ,if it ended at about 3/4 of the game ,condensed or merge a few zone together and didnt`t reuse bosses so much it would fight for nr 1.
3: Sekiro - It had the guts to move a bit away from the souls formula, the feeling of swordplay it`s just insane and really liked the bosses,so different and creative.

I really like the Metroidvania level design in Dark Souls 1. That usually gives it the edge for me. Dark Souls 2 and Sekiro may be my runner ups. Can’t say about Elden Ring yet as I’m 70 hours in and still just barely halfway through Caelid. Plus I’ll probably play it again with a different build before fully forming an opinion on it.

To be fair I’ve only played BloodBorne once because I played it on a friends PS4, but I’d say I like it about as much as Dark Souls 3. It’s probably above DS3, but below Sekiro for me. I’ve played Demons about a 3-4 times before my PS3 died back in the day. So I guess maybe my list would be:

1)Dark Souls 1
2)Dark Souls 2 (Scholar)
3)Sekiro
4)Bloodborne
5)Dark Souls 3
6)Demons Souls

It’s not really a huge difference between how much I like each game though, I could change my mind about the order on this pretty easy 🤷🏻‍♂️

Demons souls definitely doesn't get the credit it deserves for its innovation

Tough call between DS1, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring. Got to give it to Elden Ring for the sheer size - From went above and beyond what any other studio has been able to deliver in my memory.

For "most influential," Demon's Souls, no question.

S tier - Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Sekiro
A tier - dark souls 3, bloodborne
B tier - Demon Souls, Dark Souls 2

I voted for Dark Souls because the level design in the first 2/3 of the game is so godlike, but Elden Ring and Sekiro are right there with it to me

Either Bloodborne, Sekiro or Armored Core For Answer for me. Dark Souls 1 and Demon's Souls close behind.
