Shadow of the Erdtree is finally releasing in a few months. Beyond that the workings of FromSoft is a mystery, nothing more has been announced. Nevertheless we can be sure they are at work on their next big game. Presumably this will be their first one exclusively targeting current generation hardware.

Comparatively they've been quite efficient in pumping out high-quality games. With all eyes on FromSoft after the success of Elden Ring we hopefully will not have to wait for too long. Can we hope for a reveal this year?

A modern day game would be an interesting journey.

The Return the Dragon ending is a great setup for sequel since in that ending they are traveling to west so we can get brand new setting for the sequel.

Since they don't listen to whiners and don't make 8 years in development games for "muh graphics" I'd imagine an announcement in late 2024 or early 2025 for a release in late 2025 or early 2026
