Ive talked about the old days of gaming where demos were a thing back in the original ps era. Its good to see sony taking a step back in that direction and even 1 up’n it with game trials. Hopefully they continue to expand on it.

Gotta play F.E.A.R, didn’t even know there was a PS3 version! I always thought it was a X360 exclusive!

The Infamous PS3 games will get a playthrough as well, it’s been a long time since I played those.

I was hoping to see Dead Space 1-3 in the streamable PS3 list but at least we get the Remake soon and I already have Dead Space 2 on PS3.

The PS2 games are really just the remasters already available? God that's bad. The PS1/PSP selection is also very barebones, who would've thought that the leaked games are all there was to the classics. At least the PS4/5 lineup is good.

Also, players who have previously purchased the digital version of games from the original PlayStation and PSP generation will not have to make a separate purchase or sign up to PlayStation Plus to play these titles on PS4 or PS5. When these titles are released for PS4 and PS5, players can head to PlayStation Store and download a version for the consoles at no extra cost if they already own the digital version of the title. Some of the titles will also be available for individual purchase.
wow...they actually did it. Never in a million years did i expect current PlayStation to do this! Not only does it confirm you can purchase the classics separately, everything we've bought carries over basically. Nice! Let me read everything else...

Will all these games be available immediately, or they will release them along the year?
And if I sign and "purchase" them, they're mine as long as I sign PS+ at any time?

This is potentially great news for me. I'm not likely to sub, but I bought a lot of PS3 games back in the day.

I have mixed feelings now, though the initial impression I got was pretty bad. Some truly great games there, specially the PS4/PS5 catalogue, but I'm still disappointed at the classics catalogue, at least the initial list.

As far as the list as a whole, it's okay. I don't know if I'll be able to fully wrap my head around it until I see what they're doing for a couple months. This initial dump of games will be a bit larger than the monthly offerings I'm assuming. Surprised to see Miles Morales and Ghost of Tsushima on there.

I'm seeing some good stuff, but also a lot of mediocre garbage as well. It's certainly more than enough to play for 1 month, that's for sure. Guess we'll see how the pace of things continues. A lot on there is from the PS Collection that people already had.

I wonder if the streamable PS3 version of Demon’s Souls will count as a separate SKU from the physical because I’d easily go collect some trophies on that as well.

Fantastic move to not only allow people who already purchased those old games way back in the day to not have to do so again but also make them available once more for people who didn't buy them. I've bought the original Final Fantasy 7 like five fucking times it seems. Nice to see they aren't limiting those titles to purely a subscription service.

Even without being an exhaustive list, that's great news. We already caught a glimpse with The Last of Us Part 2 last year, but it seems Sony is not going to have a problem putting their first-party games on the service after just over a year from release. Now I'm curious to see if all their games stay on the service once added or if some of them rotate out like before.

Only having two hours for a time trial seems a bit limited and is the only part I was slightly disappointed by. But considering how far you can get in some games after just two hours I guess I can understand limiting it.

Ubisoft+ is part of this? That's pretty awesome. That means every Ubisoft game will be on the service day one.

Just Ubisoft Classics included. Got it.

Ape escape 1 & 2, Demon Souls & AC:Valhalla are the highlights imo.

Wonder if you'll be able to purchase ps classic games, but I sadly get the feeling they will be tied to the sub like the switch's offerings.

PS1 and PS2 games is not much...but it's a start! I hope they will see the light now and keep adding more.
