Yeah, it looks good. Maybe even great, but "beautiful" is a bit much. I just hope all that ambition doesn't make them take shortcuts in other areas. The gunplay doesn't look good. Hopefully they have more to add to it.

Game looks incredible. All the noise and "concern" is solely due to this being an Xbox exclusive which seems to bring out the worst from the usual suspects. Game will be a huge success regardless.

Honestly I’ve got a PS5, had every PlayStation console and never owned an Xbox, and this game is more interesting to me than anything that’s been announced as upcoming to PS5. Sony hasn’t got anything anything announced that is remotely as exciting to me. I have no interest in anything Marvel Universe or Star Wars.
Bethesda was a huge get for MS. Sony need to step up and announce something exciting that is not a movie or comic tie or 8th title in a franchise. They’re really going to miss games like this.

I'm a big Bethesda single player rpg fan and i'm really looking forward to the game, but i think that title is a bit over the top, their games have never been the best looking ever, that's not the point of them neither do they look bad, i'm gonna mod it anyway, i want the BGS immersive experience that's been missing for years.

Ehh..its alright I guess. Depends if they have interesting characters to be on the adventure with you or not. Fallout 4's only great npc was the robot gumshoe detective. Seems Bethesda is focusing on stuff I care least about with the crafting and settlement shit.
Now if only Obsidian has this amount of budget put into their games it would be 1000+ hour game for me.

Nick Valentine and Piper were fine too. Definitely preferred them over Outer World companions. Don't remember any of them.
This picture becomes even funnier when you know that the gameplay in Tlou 2 and God of War is several heads higher than in any Bethesda game, and it is the gameplay that makes games games, for your information.

Yeah, Bethesda games are about exploration and different styles of play. The gameplay itself is actually weak. Combat is awful. It's the main reason why I can't go back to skyrim. Also, nothing reacts to getting hit. I just slashed that fucker with a claymore and he's still charging at me!

American RPGS at this point like Starfield, Fallout, Mass Effect and Dragon Age seem so boring. FFVII Rebirth, FF16, DQ12, Dragons Dogma 2 all have me so hype.
The only american rpg Im interested in is Diablo IV. Everything else just sounds boring

Alot of these replies are embarrassing, I can see being apprehensive, but the amount of trolling or fanboying because the game isn't on your console of choice is ridiculous.
Starfield is by far the most ambitious game to come out in a long time and hopefully it lives up to the BGS name.

Considering the sheer breadth of content this game is going to have, the complex NPC structure and persistent living, breathing worlds that Bethesda brings, I can say without a doubt that this is my most hyped game and perhaps my first true glimpse into next gen. I loved The Outer Worlds and this looks to outdo it in every way imaginable. Even the combat is a huge step up, not to mention the addition of space flight and thousand planets to explore. Forget what they told ya, I think we just may be in for the game of the forever.
This is exactly what stockholm syndrome looks like.

When I read so many negative comments, I feel fortunate to not have become so jaded and cynical. I've been gaming since the very beginning, and I often still feel a connection to that child playing on the Atari VCS, and I imagine how he would feel about gaming today. If he saw what we have today in Starfield and *SO* many other games, he'd likely drop dead of awe on the spot.
If I felt like so many on gaming forums do, I wouldn't game at all. Happy gamers seem to be a rare breed, or at least a less vocal one.

Overall, I agree it looks fantastic. They have some stuff to iron out obviously, but that's what the delay is for. I'm definitely still hyped and looking forward to playing the game. All that spaceship crafting stuff is right up my alley. Could be my dream game.
