This is frighteningly accurate. Young men are having their morality and world view dictated to by internet fucking shills, who only say and do what they say and do to keep people liking and subscribing. Washouts like Peterson would have been the unpleasant guy at the back of the room nobody pays any attention to twenty years ago. Social media has made failed men fortunes, and that is one of its biggest crimes.

In the UK, hate crimes can mean a prison sentence.
Few examples. Last year a man was arrested and sent to prison for making a racist remark to Marcus Rashford on Twitter.
More recently, a man was arrested for sharing a photo on Twitter that changed the pride flag into a Nazi swastika.
The only way to beat hate and bigotry is to make hate speech and bigotry illegal. Same with misogyny. Make it illegal and it'll stop.

Don't drive drunk. What is drunk? When you blow into this thing and it's scientifically proven you have a blood alcohol level over a specific amount.
Don't kill anyone. How about self defense? That is allowed, and depending on if we can prove in a court of law that your actions were premeditated or happened in the moment, there are also various levels to a murder charge.
Don't steal anything. How does that work? Well if you have something and the rightful owner can prove that it belonged to them, we charge you with a crime.
In the examples above, we have a scientific test, a body, and a physical object. All objectively proven crimes. Where is the objective proof in an accusation of racism or sexism? Slurs are easy. You can make a list of words that people are not to use, but banning specific words is never something that can stop hate. Arresting people for hate isn't going to do much either except create resentment and anger, which are two of the fundamental building blocks of hate.

To this I'd ask what was the racist remark, what about it specifically made it hate speech, and what is the smallest amount of change you could make to the remark where it would no longer fit the UK's legal definition of hate speech? If you can't answer these questions, you have subjective laws without clear definitions that will be selectively enforced.
