To offer a slightly different perspective from my earlier umm, crazy ramblings, Helena's comments come off as as a little extreme, she would need to completely disregard anyone involved in the production of Bayonetta 3, as well as any fan interested in purchasing this game after waiting several years, because she isn't featured on it, by adressing the fans directly telling them to not purchase a videogame, No matter how burned you feel when offered a $4000 role, that reaction is quite bizarre to me, this is such a weird incident and i have no idea what happened

Now with Jennifer Hale's comments , she is putting her reputation on the line, as well as Kamiya's. I can only hope this gets resolved between them respectfully, i don't have any ill will towards any party involved here until we have all the answers, just can't help but think there's a big puzzle piece hidden in all of this drama, and was hoping this was just a big marketing gimmick since that was the common theory for many months, and if any company could it off it was PG

Platinum declined and, following lengthy negotiations, took auditions for a new actor. In an email, Taylor described this account as "an absolute lie" and said Platinum was "trying to save their ass and the game." She said she stood by everything she said in the video. "I would like to put this whole bloody franchise behind me quite frankly get on with my life in the theatre," she wrote. Representatives for Platinum Games and Nintendo didn't respond to requests for comment. Hideki Kamiya, the executive director of Bayonetta 3, called Taylor's allegations "sad and deplorable" in a Twitter post.

If Schreiers info is true, and the recording sessions are still the same at about 4H each, then Nintendo offered her the equivalent of $1000/hr to do recordings. Lol.

And still not good enough for Taylor. I don’t know how common it is for video game VA to get royalty cuts but it looks like she wanted some kind of breadcrumb deal where she gets royalty fees, profit sharing or whatever she was asking for as part of bonus residual payments.

Learning how to negotiate is to start at a reasonable number. Not ask for the moon or else you’ll get kicked out. Looks like the numbers were so far apart she wasn’t asking for the moon, but the whole solar system. Lol
