It was never great and always felt like walking on eggshells but definitely by early 2019 I was like uhhhh something is fucked…to be clear, I 100% support LGBTQ rights and most of the time when people complain that something is “woke” because it’s got a female lead or whatever my eyes roll out the back of my head, but what that’s not really what that place is about. It’s really just a bunch of power tripping mods ready to crucify anyone for the crime of violating their orthodoxy, which has the same rules as Calvinball.
I’m glad this game is reviewing well and has a chance to be successful for all the people that put hard work into making it, and for all the people that will get enjoyment out of it. And I’m certain none of that will actually hurt anyone, or if it does hurt someone’s feelings, they got other stuff to work on.

They're 100% not well intentioned. These people hate their lives and set out to make everyone as miserable as possible.
They hide behind "virtuous" causes because that's what gives them the license to attack and control people. The primary motivating factor is gaining clout and power for themselves online since their lives are a disaster.

Yeah I’ve stopped doing day one PC purchases for that reason. Console games still have issues, but not to the extent that PC games do.

Its actually better than i thought it would be. I play all games @1440p with high settings and get 80+fps(i have 165hz monitor). With DLSS its even better. Currently i play 2 games.
Assetto Corsa Competizione(full AI grid) i get around 100fps at max settings and Squad(100 player lobby) around 90-100fps with almost all high settings.And Squad graphics/explosions are gorgeous..
BF2042 128players i get around 100fps with DLSS at quality and high settings.
Even in VR i can get 80-90fps at higher settings.
Im definitely gonna skip RTX 4xxx series and get 5xxx next year

Great review scores. The world is saved. I was banned about two years ago at Re for speaking out about all the sick “FK JK” comments, also wishing her dead. I said something about people jumping on the bandwagon, not actually believing what they were saying ((to appease the thought police there) ..
I’m so pleased the game has turned out good and there are still safe spaces in which we can voice our opinions.

Either that, or they'll slate it in a long rant and then disable comments. That's about how childish that particular site is nowadays. They used to just shadowban anyone who opposed their view, but now that they push (and somehow manage to take) subscription cash from those gullible enough to pay it, they can't really do that anymore. Hence they don't allow comments when they know what the response will be.
They'll also happily take the cash from ads for the game, of course.

PC performance for most games has been horrible over the past 5 years, BF2042 finally feels good after more than a year.
I've honestly decided to buy the majority of my games on PS5 even tho i paid for a great PC a year ago or two ago

Their win for the week is arguing on social media and forums, when in reality humans only live around 70-80 years. I’m not sensitive to performance issues and bugs - I played thru cyberpunk the first week it released and was totally fine with it.
I honestly wasn’t going to get this game cus I assumed it would be shit since the developers didn’t seem to have that great of a track record… but these reviews are great. And it scoring like this even with the controversy/culture war thing around it (yes it fully exists don’t be a moron - mention of the game is banned from the largest gaming forum on the planet/multiple reviewers mention it) its probably even better than the scores suggest.
