I want....
blood and truth.
Beat saber.
Wipeout.

Most of the psvr1 games brought over. Pixel Ripped, Ironman.

A full RPG of some sort.

I wont ask for elder scrolls, as they released the damn thing with original bugs if i remember right. Unacceptable.

I would love to see ports of these games:
Wipeout
Astro Bot
Resident Evil VII
Skyrim VR
Half Life Alyx
Rush of Blood

Would love to see the return of some old IPs from Sony (being hybrid or not):
Killzone
Resistance
Motor Toon Gran Prix (by Polyphony!)
Twisted Metal (well, there are even rumours about it, dunno how it would be on VR, though)
Jet Moto and...
Colony Wars :messenger_smiling_hearts:

And, of course, brand new IPs from Sony (and From Software, please!)

BTW, dunno why, but I think Silent Hill A Short Message is a PSVR2 title, would love that.

Of course this list is basically dreaming, as most of them won't ever happen. It is just for fun!

OMG a VR Motor Toon Gran Prix would be amazing!
I‘d really love to see an Astrobot sequel, with the original game updated and part of a pack-in. Yas baby gal.
I‘d also love to see a GTAV VR update as well.
Setting myself up for disappointment, clearly 😂

Has there been any acknowledgement of the soft graphics on NMS from the Devs? I'm waiting till they sort it out before getting stuck in.

On the last level of Resi8 and continue to be utterly awestruck at how fucking good this game looks/plays, that massive cavern was incredible to behold and now I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do next, bloody missing something...

After the cavern you should have all 4 blocks/pieces to insert into the main area in the Village by the merchant to remove the pedestal and take it to the area by the giant statues?

The Factory (once you're really inside it and have access to the elevator & merchant by the elevator) blows everything else away, it's amazing.

I think so. At least they specifically mentioned adressing the IQ in a patch (something like 'minor improvement') before. Not sure if they are still pursuing this goal, though.

That's the section I'm on, by cavern I meant the section with the human conveyor belts, steam and huge pipes, it looks absolutely insane. The level before with the werewolves was stressful af lol hell every level has been just brilliant and it's sad it's coming to an end, it's been one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had, right up there with playing Tekken for the first time alongwith the original RE and Tombraider, VR is definitely the way to game, can't wait to check out RE4 as I never played the Resi games past 3 back in the day.

Ah - I thought of the caverns more like the place before, got it. You just need to keep making molds in the furnace and moving that elevator up until you get to the top, you have some pretty insane stuff to get through still! The area is a bit confusing especially since it does have that getting to the end let's finish feel - but I went through it slowly, enjoying it and learned my way around pretty well.

Damn, Red Matter 2 really shows off how good the PSVR2 actually is. So many times since launch I’ve thought I’m not wearing the headset properly or the lenses are shit and I’ll spend what feels like ages moving the headset around on my face to try get a clearer image while all along it’s just that the games were soft And blurry.

Red matter 2 is razor sharp and it’s not just the textures, for the first time the headset has lived up to the ”crystal clear” praise that got thrown around by some reviewers at launch.

Man, I'm dying to play this game. It looks so colorful and pretty, I bet it is absolutely gorgeous on the headset. I think I will finish Village first and then buy this game, leaving other cools game to be played later lol

Tried red matter 2, didnt expect it will live up to the hype of reviews as Im not into low budget game (for example wasnt impressed with saints and sinners) but yeah indeed, clearly sharpest game on psvr2 and has realy nice glossy reflections on many materials. Additionaly good usage of headset vibration, interesting narration. If its that good till the end we can have 3rd best psvr2 game (gt7 and village of course p1 and p2).

Just played 2 hours of Red Matter 2, the game is super clean & clear ! Some elements are almost photorealistics with the 4K textures. The puzzles & the physics are cool, the narration is engaging and the ambiance is intriguing. It's very impressive, specialy when you know it comes from a team of 2 devs.

What's the reason that we don't have either SuperHot or a sequel to it? Would seem that PSVR2 is much more similar to PCVR so it should be an easy port?

PSVR2 really needs a Mech game.

One of the first VR games I played was a Mech game, not sure if it was Battletech or not, since it was not in the cockpit, but a standing harness. Was awesome though (the Disney world in Orlando used to have a amazing gaming building outside of it, just floor after floor of the latest games, then they got rid of it, was too popular). I played it for hours and skipped Disney world. :p

VR really fits well with Mecha games!

WRT Beat Saber I reckon they’ll do the psvr2 section in the showcase and at the end announce BS is available for download (Possibly with additional features). We know it’s coming And I can’t see any reason other than adding new features why it’s taken so long to release.

WTF?! How dare you not mentioning Demeo?! What a massive letdown! 🤪 J/k... Man, only hearing great things about Red Matter 2, I'm so excited to play it!

didnt even give it a chance ;d is it worth for singleplayer approach ?
It is cool, specially if you like board games, the more simplified ones as Demeo is not complex at all. But the game truly shines when playing it with friends, imo. Its just a blast to strategize with them and win because of that.

Fully expect RE4 VR trailer and a date and maybe HL ALyx (I'm still thinking that Valve will be ok with that if Sony pay for porting studio). Other than that I wanna see more racing games for PS5 with VR support.

Agreed. I think they will release Beat Saber at the show and it would be cool.
I'm kinda optimistic about the PSVR2 titles for the show, I think we will finally see the supposed hybrid approach, which, hopefully, will include Sony's major studios like ND.

I’m also hankering for some beat Sabre now just as a change from synth riders. I didn’t realize how much I’d enjoy vr rhythm based games tbh.

All right, I played two hours of Red Matter 2 and I love it!

Graphics are really, really impressive. Dont expect the level of detail of a AAA game, but in terms of pure IQ it obliterates RE8 and Horizon. Everything feels so crisp and fluid, all the textures are high res and have some reflections, lighting is spot-on and the space vistas are awe-inspiring. This is really a "VR next gen moment" to me, coming from Psvr1.

In terms of gameplay, its clearly a narrative si-fi puzzle game, so you mostly spend your time figuring out how to solve some smart and well thought puzzles. As it is pure si-fi, expect to have some hacking, weird machines to use etc.. really enjoyable so far!

I cant say much about the story yet, but it is engaging enough and I already had a scene about that "red matter" that felt promising.

So yeah, after 2 hours I would say that if you want a great space experience and some eye candy for your PSVR2, you cant go wrong with this one. Apprently the game is around 7 hours long, which is perfect for the genre, and only costs 29.

PSVR reddit sub is going bonkers over Red Matter 2's visuals. What most of them don't know is the mobile Quest 2 version looked better than anything I've seen on PSVR1 running on PS4 Pro. Even looked better than some PCVR games. Anyone who's played it knows what I'm talking about. The oasis of optimization is not consoles anymore, it's mobile VR. Getting these games to look that good and run at 72fps locked is bonkers AND with high resolution. 3 year old mobile hardware.

I appreciate games that go after native res and 90/120fps framerates, but to me I still find the lived in environments full of clutter and garbage and piples/hoses hanging from the ceiling to be more impressive.

And stuff like that of course looks even better / more detailed in VR.

Most know it but psvr2 version (according to reviewers) looks miles better than quest 2 version (tough looks awsome for a quest 2 game apparently)

Though that's cool too, I think I'm more inclined to native res + 90hz in detriment of other things. Though, I must say Village is freaking great despite the reprojection and that screen shimmering😂

But then you strafe to the left or turn your head and every object is a blurry haze thanks to the reprojection. Screenshots don't capture VR.

I received my PSVR2 lenses from VROptician and I'm extremely satisfied!
While wearing glasses did not really bother me it's definitely less cumbersome.
The lenses are super easy to clip on and they come in a neat case with a cleaning cloth.

Thank you to MR ARCADE FOREVER who gave me the idea when he got his 🙂

It's not though - the game's motion isn't blurry at all for me, not sure why. I don't have any issues at all with the motion.

The game is actually crystal clear when you're moving your head around, looks great to me.

Edit: I suppose if you have tunnel vision / vignetting on it does indeed look like shit. But that needs to be disabled as soon as you build enough VR legs to turn it off, that dims everything during movement and makes it a mess to focus on anything like you describe.
