A PS5 Pro enhanced version of Starfield with all DLC and mods (is that still a thing?) was always going to be the way to play this title.
Admittedly, I thought we'd have to wait for PS6 for the definitive edition port. But happy to get it a few years earlier than expected.
Now I just need Forza Horizon 4/5 and Flight Sim '24 and I'm sorted. If MS wants to port any compilations or retro titles I'll also take a look.
It's extra revenue for them, I wasn't going to purchase an Xbox. I'm already trying to reduce the number of ecosystems and subscriptions I have.

As a person who mains Xbox aslong as Microsoft keeps producing hardware I’ll buy it. Got no problems with them releasing games on PlayStation. Xbox will never sell as many consoles as Sony but I think there will always be a demand for specific hardware for people like me (I hope)
As I’ve stated before I hope Microsoft take the route of basically offering a console sized pc with the ability to switch between the Xbox os for the console experience and a Windows boot option for people to who would prefer that (you’d have to buy a Windows key to activate)
I don’t think they would care if you buy your Xbox games on steam as they would still get your money (minus steams cut obviously) and that way they could effectively get PlayStation games on it when Sony chooses to release them.

There was a rumour that game announcements were being held back so they could be shown off on the PS5 Pro. PS5 Pro is supposedly launching this year, so if true they should have a lot more to show.

I'm afraid Forza 8 is mostly trash in any piece of plastic, probably even metal. I can't speak for Horizon 5, 3 and 4 were mostly ok.

I don’t know about everything but certainly every crazy high budget game that under performs. Indiana Jones could be a good indicator though and I know there are rumors that it is coming to PS5. Though rumors of this type are extremely easy to predict and then if it never happens you just say ‘oh their plans changed’
