F1 engines are vastly more complex. They've been in Indycar for a lot longer, and supplied a lot more teams.

F1 engines are mad complex compared to Indycar ones. And even then, theyre still not reliable in this much either.

I wouldn't say that. They're not pushed to the absolute limits on boost to save costs (so that the teams don't need a new engine each race).

The F1 engines couldn't run for as long as the IndyCar engines do.
