You move on. It’s like playing the lotto. You never know if the next ticket was the winning one.

Elon doesn't hold Shiba Inc I guess. Why is he associated with it?

Best thing about it.... extremely positive for Floki and nobody said that Elon got Floki.

Floki is helping his brother with monthly donations to MillionGardenMovement.

Elon was talking about creating value with products (Valhalla) or services for fellow human beings (Inuversity + dobation of 1.4 mil for milliongarden)

His answer was thoughtful and the longest on twitter in a long time regarding Floki.

He burnt Shiba with a simple "None"

Do you guys ever wonder if at some point you died and you are living in a crazy simulation that makes absolutely no sense?
Only wonder this whenever I continue to hear about shib, doge, or other meme coins.... Or when I look and see the combined value of Shib + Doge is nearly 100 BILLION dollars. Please tell me this is a simulation..

Incase anyone was wondering btw...
Yes I am salty for not owning shib/doge but also don't care about investing in well, trash LOL

I also think this about Tesla market cap, the entire options gambling casino market , the US debt, the Federal Reserve, graphics card prices and the chinese real estate market.

Shib and Doge are basically 17th century tulip mania

My god, I didn't realize that Tesla passed 1T marketcap and broke 1000 bucks... Not sure how this went under my radar but that's a very insightful thought

What's the real expectations for Doge? I saw someone saying the highest they thought it could possibly go would be around .75 because the market cap would be huge for it then.

I'm holding a little hoping for another run up like in May, but as far as long term, it doesn't have any function to force the price up, like destroying coins, does it?

I'm a relative novice with this stuff, but I do have a good chunk of $AUDIO. Anyone else have anything invested into it? It cost me nothing as I am a musician and put my music up on there, and when they dispatched a bunch to the community, I got a good share. So I'm tempted to just hold it for as long as possible. Hoping it grows and grows.

Might as well hold onto it since you got it for free. There's no downside and the upside would be that it goes up in value in a year or so.

Is there multiple floki coins? Where are you getting these numbers? nM

Check it here: https://theflokiinu.com/#metrics

Mostly from Dextools but including the CEXes like gate.io and poloniex.

Eth: https://www.dextools.io/app/uniswap/pair-explorer/0x10e4a463f2ace6e3836fe547e885993844299be6

Bnc: https://www.dextools.io/app/pancakeswap/pair-explorer/0xb372ea0debcc8235c2374929028284973e4f5e26

And be careful with other Floki coins like
baby floki - most copy to scam

Floki didnt change much over night :) iam happy

I bought Kadena. The pitch on /biz/ convinced me. I had to sign up for CoinMetro to get it, and it was a bit of PITA, but I am happy I did.

Some more gpus - hashrate up to ~600Mhz.
I really recommend today buying GTX 1080ti as it has the best hashrate/price ratio at the moment, unless you say there is better gpu for mining now?

If it's gambling money then hold.

If you want to play smart take back your original investment so any loss is neutralized and any profit is free money.

Congrats! But what the hell, I was looking at that couple weeks ago and I didn’t really understand how that will work for games or what game it was for!
Edit: Still new to this stuff just started in crypto in July.

Any idea what is going on with Chiliz right now? Why does it go up all of a sudden?
I thought it was done when it didn't rise substantially around UEFA 2020, but I guess that was premature.

i'd love to get into coins but it doesn't make sense to me. do people actually use them to buy stuff or is it more just trying to make profit?

Well there are two kinds of people in this game. The ones that see the true potential and want to see the internet evolve and be more secure, fair and just. Something that could genuinely replace fiat money all over the world and actually give power back to the people away from asset and fiat money hoarding super rich. That is certainly something that could be achieved with that technology, even though it is impossible to say what would be the catalyst or where it goes.
(Be aware that this is more theoretical and we can't forget the human factor which could mean that people heavily lobby against it, governments banning it and sheer greed completely exploiting it)

However the people with money are also already in this game and most of it all is owned by a few wealthy individuals. Like 90% of all bitcoin is in less than 3% of the big wallets (I think).

Then there is the ponzi scheme and finding future idiots pure speculation and gambling side of it. Nearly all crypto currencies you see are a big pump and dump where the early adopters luck out, grab a sweet 10x or 100x and then leave the mainstream with bagholding.
I would guess nearly everyone who is invested in crypto has only one goal and if they were completely honest about it when you ask them they would say : "I hope my coins skyrocket and I cash out in fiat currency ($,€, etc) and buy a house, car and enjoy a comfortable life without work".

There are ways to use these coins for actual purchases, but I haven't looked enough into it. I don't think there are actual infrastructures that could support global widespread use of instant transactions.

It is impossible to predict the future when we are facing "breakthrough technology". People in the 80s couldn't have predicted that an online bookstore becomes such a global powerhouse that the dude can fly to space and has a higher networth than entire countries GDP.

Eventually hindsight is always 20/20. If crypto goes nuts and actually has a breakthrough then people will be like "of course it was bound to happen that our system gets replaces with this", but if it crashes completely then people say "yup just as a I though, crypto was completely worthless and reminded me of the tulip mania".

It is a leap of faith or a gamble, but so are most things in life and the FOMO aspect of it and seeing people talking about it and making big money certainly doesn't make it easier for us.

Could anyone explain what "burning" means? For SHIB, that is. If i buy some shina, will my coins be burned?

It means someone sends the tokens to a dead wallet thus no one can access them. This lowers the total supply of tokens which should increase the price. This is voluntary so your tokens won't be burned unless you decide to send them to a dead wallet.

Got it, so by sending them out there will be less of them on the market so the value (might) go up.
Thanks!

I know it's futile, but whenever I create a new wallet I always "sync" it just in case I win some burnt crypto. Statistically, I've got more chance of finding a specific atom in the whole universe but one can dream.

Been out of crypto for a couple of years, thinking about dabbling again. Anything promising to throw a bit on?

Last couple of pages mentioning Shib and Floki. Thinking I might try my chances on at least one to start with.

Anyone use Nexo or Celsius to deposit coins and make interest?

I put 1K of USDC in Celsius just to see how its working, obviously working fine so far, pretty cool but not sure I could ever put in a substantial amount. Feels too risky.

Ive used celsius for almost 7 months now. The BTC int rate is great. Zero issues. And the no fee withdrawals is awesome. Best place to stake. Very quick. Very happy with them.

no, of course not, your coins are safe, we're just burning the excess coins circulated in the market

I'm in Shiba, watch this video how it works

to help with burning, really simple, just listen to that playlist in youtube, spotify, etc (can't mute or loop the playlist)

we've burning at the rate of 3m coins a day

Kadena staking should go live this week.

I had never been excited about a coin, but I caught Kadena relatively early on /biz/ and I guess I am obviously biased, but I can see it popping soon.

I learned my lesson with AVAX. I remember when it was ~$3 and a few people at /biz/ kept pumping it while I ignored it. By the time I got into AVAX, it was already late, I only doubled my money. However, with Kadena, I think I have a decent change of experiencing a 10x pump in the short term. I haven't ever sold a single one of my Crypto positions, so even with AVAX, I think I will see more gains, however, it will be a while like with ETH, which I've been holding since 2017.

Kadena is a brilliant choice lol, looks like the strongest blockchain thus far, testing is going great, projects onboarding... something has to really go wrong for it to not end up in top 10.

Glad to see someone talking about a anything else than these wothless dogshit coins. But this meme bullshit will in the end be good because it brings in a lot of normie money that hopefully smartens up.

Well, i'm sure that it'll go up even if it won't happen today but tomorrow or the day after.
Patience, i guess?

Australia's largest bank have just said they'll allow customers to buy, sell and hold crypto in their accounts. Pretty big news here.

Meanwhile I'm contemplating if/when I'll sell out of my Ethereum. Thinking of using it to buy a car (aka the worst type of asset to buy) but debating if I sell out now and get a regular car or try and hold on a bit longer and it goes up enough to buy a Tesla :\
