The reason why the team behind "Black Myth: Wukong" has been subjected to persistent sexist attacks and slander since their first promotional video is because they have consistently refused political correctness guidance and rejected the extortionate guidance fees of millions of dollars demanded by these political correctness teams.

Actually, such teams are quite common in Europe and America. They interfere with works like "Assassin's Creed" "Dying Light 2 Stay Human" and "God of War" by pushing for politically correct female protagonists. These changes are the direct result of the interference and guidance of such teams.

Game science teams refuse to communicate with these groups and reject their interference. Most importantly, they refuse to pay the exorbitant $7 million in guidance fees. This is the direct reason why they are being attacked and slandered. Some justifications are based on the team's lack of diversity or representation, which doesn't align with the political correctness standards.

A typical example is an article by a major IGN writer criticizing "Hogwarts Legacy" and refusing to evaluate or promote it due to its alleged lack of political correctness.

Maybe it's because English is not my first language, but what exactly is the process here? I'm trying to understand how this works. Is the dev being approached proactively by these idiots? Is this kind of a black mail operation?

Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
Based developers although if they're going after these Chinese developers, that's starting to make me worry about Japanese developers and how many of them might be involved with SBI now?

For context:

This is not something new. They've been doing this for years, similarly to what that hag Anita Sarkeesian was trying to pull off with CDPR 5 years ago, due to the supposed sexism in The Witcher series:

I used Gemini AI to translate the image and this is what it said:

The image you sent is a screenshot of a Chinese social media post. The post is critical of what it calls "political correctness guidance teams" and their influence on video games.

Here is a translation of the text:

Text:

  • Black Myth: Wukong has been under constant attack for so-called "gender discrimination" since its first trailer.
  • This is because they refused guidance from these political correctness guidance teams overseas, which can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
  • There are many such teams in Europe and America, and they have interfered with many works, such as the Assassin's Creed series, Dying Light 2, and God of War 4.
  • A series of notoriously ugly female protagonists are the direct result of these political correctness guidance teams' interference (for example, Lavana).
  • The Game Science team refused to communicate with them, refused to let them interfere, and most importantly, refused to pay their starting fees of at least $7 million. This is the main reason why the rejected teams are manipulating the media, some YouTubers who are interested in money, or those who are already利益相关 (liyi guanxi, meaning "have a stake in") with them, to criticize the game unfairly.
  • To give the simplest example, one of IGN's main writers, Rebecca Valentine, is a member of one of these political correctness guidance teams (Sweetbaby is one of the most prominent "consultant" organizations), so their crazy criticism is essentially for money.
Additional information:

  • The post was made by 天虎 (Tianhu), an internet technology blogger, on Weibo on June 9, 2024.
  • Hideo Kojima, a famous video game developer, retweeted the post and praised Black Myth: Wukong's art style.
  • Another user then replied to Kojima's tweet, criticizing him for promoting a game studio with a history of sexism and hatred.
It is important to note that the claims made in this post are unsubstantiated. There is no evidence that "political correctness guidance teams" are a real thing, or that they have had a negative influence on video games. The post is likely the opinion of the author, and should not be taken as fact.

That's a ridiculous sum of money for a consultation group, especially for what sweet baby would do.

I refuse to believe that's how much they charge cause that's a rip off

True or not it does sound like something they would do yeah. After all the protection rackets never stopped, they only got more retarded.

Sounds made up, by some random blogger. If they kept it at 70k “consultation fee“, will make it more believable
Yeah would be more believable if it actually made sense. I haven't played god of war but I feel like I would have heard if Kratos was now a woman. And Hogwarts Legacy was extremely diverse it was boycotted purely because of Rowling.

surprised to see people actually falling for what looks to be cooked up by a random blogger, but confirmation bias is a thing indeed.

The last paragraph is even more amusing. We know why some ‘journalists’ were mad at Hogwarts Legacy. It’s got nothing to do with ‘political correctedness’ in the game itself

It is a cute marketing story and worked for Hogwarts, but I don't believe anything, when a product is being sold on the back of it.

This is the most made up shit that has ever been made up. But they definitely want to get that sweet Stellar Blade money.

Is it the case that there are many people are calling black myth sexist? even as like a bot campaign? cause we just had stellar blade come out and the reaction to that was mostly fine.

this feels like a cynical buy in to the anti-woke crowd.

SBI is probably demanding a percentage of the game's budget.
Handling this affair like taxes. It's funny how even in these tiny details, the subconcious Socialist rears his head. Wonder if they have a progressive system where the more male characters you plan on developing, the higher your letter of indulgence like tax rate is.
