What DVD edition should I get? I can play both region 1 and 2.
- The UK DVD Collection from 2014?
- The older (2000) Remix Complete?
- The (unavailable?) UK Complete series from 2013?
- The NTSC Complete Series from 2014
- Or the NTSC Remix collection from 2008?
- Or something else entirely?

Sometimes later editions omit stuff like extras, or the picture is of worse quality or something, but I can't find a good comparison of all the boxes. Also is there a difference between the US and UK boxes? I heard there was some censorship when it was aired on US TV, I don't know if the US DVDs are complete.

Are there any differences between the US and UK films apart from the usual region lock? PAL/NTSC, resolution, framerate, interpolation(?), technical stuff like that?

Why DVD and not BD is the more important question.

If you really have to, the new DVD/BDs from Funimation are the ones to get since they use a good version of the master.

I don't know if there's much of a difference for the movie, except that the NA BD version only has 2.0 stereo, and the transfer was so-so (I think).

Edit 2: If you're in the UK, these should be the same as the Funi DVDs. I remember Anime Ltd. released the remastered versions in the UK before the US got on it.

BD: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HSHDGQS/

The only issue with the PAL versions may be that there is a conversion to 25FPS, but I don't know if they do that for the BD versions.
