Some of us people don't want Sony to know that we they watch Abby on Abby action on pornhub. Can you imagine if they collected data from my our computers, and then implemented an Abby alter-ego, which was stronger than her for TLOU3? It would be absolutely fucking amazing horrendous!

Did you not read the quote that you are replying to? I literally said just that. Not personal data like CC info, but Sony is definitely selling your data, and you have no say so in the matter.

The companies you listed don't sell your PERSONAL data either. They would be sued to kingdom come if they ever tried that. But you said Sony doesn't sell your data, and my post prior was to prove that they in fact do sell it.

A lot of these companies get away with it because they're not selling it but giving it to other companies for benefits.

None of that data, from any company, is personally linked back to YOU personally though. Not Microsoft, Sony, Google, Apple, etc. That would be illegal and 110% beach of privacy.

If you're in the market to buying a ps5 for instance. Google isn't specifically targeting a guy name John Doe because he searched "how to buy ps5". Sony isn't then contacting John Doe via email because Google sold their information to Sony. Fedex, UPS, USPS,etc isn't suddenly contacting Sony within 0.5 seconds of Johnny's order, for an inquiry on who can ship him the console the quickest, because Sony sold their customers data to the shippers.

Everything is anonymous, and because John is on the lookout for a ps5, he would be the targeted audience for Sony to advertise to. Not because Sony specifically knows that John Doe specifically is on the hunt for one.

I'm liking it so far, never drop below 100fps, everything maxed out @ 3440x1440. I've noticed a little frame packing during certain circumstances. It's on sale on some key sites, or *inserts* "you can try for free on gamepass!" Jp
