Ground Zeroes was setting up something special, TPP has a lot of hype, TPP still reviews well despite the universal criticism of the final portion of the game and it's ending, then in hindsight the real fans of the series think "Wtf TPP was shit"

This is my concern with games and reviews basically ever since. I don't trust the score,but general gameplay loop tid-bits. Trust them even less if they start to ramble along the diversity train.
