Note: If you have an interest in discussing the Fighting Game Community, consider joining the Fighting Game Community thread where we try to talk about what is happening in the FGC.

As always, if you see an infographic for a FGC tournament, it was likely made by acekingoffsuit. The guy makes stream schedules for every major tournament and he does it for free. You can find his twitter account here: https://twitter.com/acekingoffsuit

Also, Malice215's Stream schedule was used to help get more information on tournaments. Malice215 (also a gaffer) spends much of his free time maintaining the stream schedule Malice215's twitter for is https://twitter.com/stsched

What's the Akuma Master cup? Is it a bunch of mirror matches in those listed games?

It doesn't have anything to do with the guy named AkumaMaster I believe from Portugal who used to get ripped on constantly in the old SRK forums, does it?

It does.

Memorial tournament to honour Marco “Akuma” Correia, a member of the Portuguese FGC that passed away last year. He put together the biggest national events as a TO and was one of the best players during the 2004-2010 period winning multiple tournaments.

The tournament will be played in the games he loved the most. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Capcom vs SNK 2 and of course Street Fighter Alpha 2. (PS3)

Lol, the bloodbath has already started.

And, it's not like the players they lost to were bad. Striderben and Cola were clearly very good at SF5. They used Guile and Vega, not characters like Mika and Ken...so the "randomness" argument isn't an issue. Really solid.

yooo! who put them in losers?

Striderben (Philippines, Guile) put Eita in losers.

Cola321 (Cola something...I didn't catch the exact number after Cola) from Taiwan beat Haitani with Vega

Damn, Wong has completely mastered hit confirming off of a single cr.mk into tenko. That's so impressive as someone who's tried it in training mode a lot.

now if only he could confirm 2 st.lk or jab jab into tenko.

For some weird reason he doesn't do jab, jab into tenko, yeah. That's 10 times easier.

But he uses st.lk at far ranges mostly to open the opponent up, he has great pressure even without going into tenko with that one.
