Unfortunately the PES GC trailer was the old Messi one, but we *might* have some gameplay video soon. The bandwith at the expo is broken.

Konami Announce Time Hollow for Europe

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced Time Hollow for NintendoDS will be released across Europe in November. The original title marks the directorial return of Shadow of Memories’ creator Junko Kawano, who returns to her favoured themes of time manipulation and paradoxes.

Time Hollow details the repercussions of meddling with the past and the ramifications it can have on the present. The game revolves around a young student called Horo Tokio, on the eve of his 17th birthday, who wakes up to find himself in a reality whereupon his parents went missing twelve years ago. Clasping a mysterious pen in his hand, Horo discovers his parents have been removed from time by an unknown entity, but discovers the pen has the ability to create time tunnels to varying points in his past.

This unique setting allows the players to alter elements in the past to help return the timelines to normal. For instance, if someone close to Horo is killed, he can use the pen to go back to a point where he can alter circumstances to prevent their death. The pen also offers an incredible level of precision and, using the NintendoDS Stylus to draw around a person or item of interest, the player can find out about its history. However, Horo can only tinker with time so much, before events are changed too much and the game ends.

Featuring Cut-Scenes developed by the renowned Anima International Company, Time Hollow takes the player on an epic and engrossing journey, where every action has a domino effect on others. The result is a deep and enjoyable Action-Adventure title that will constantly surprise the player.

“The manipulation of time is a subject that constantly intrigues me,” commented Junko Kawano, Director of Time Hollow. “Imagine if we could indeed find out about something or somebody’s past and its links to mysteries? This was the basis for Time Hollow and with its innovative stylus control system, the NintendoDS was a logical platform for my game, and I hope people enjoy the many twists and turns the paradoxes in the game offer.” Time Hollow will be released for NintendoDS across Europe in November 2008.

The game is still set for late September in the US

Sorry, it took me a while ´till it fully hit me: Futuremark, the benchmark specialist, is developing a game? Should look spectacular!
So I take it, this could be from the game too?

When I interviewed the exec producer a couple months back, he said that the main focus has been on gameplay, since "they know they can make it look pretty".

The first teaser can be found here. I'll get to see more of it tomorrow.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?

Take to the Highway to Outrun Cops and Battle Rivals in this Holiday's Biggest Action Racing Adventure

Leipzig, Germany – August 20, 2008 – Black Box, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS), today unveiled new details of Need for Speed™ Undercover, the intense action racing game scheduled for release worldwide this November. Need for Speed Undercover has players racing through speedways, dodging cops and chasing rivals as they go deep undercover to take down an International crime syndicate. The new game heralds the return of high-intensity police chases and introduces the all-new ‘Heroic Driving Engine’ -- a unique technology that generates incredible high-performance moves at 180 miles per hour during breathtaking highway battles.

“Need for Speed Undercover puts you at the center of a big-budget Hollywood movie with all of the drama, action and dazzling chase scenes, right on your gaming console. The unique Heroic Driving Engine will give you ultimate control over the hottest cars and push you to use every ounce of skill to outrun the law and take down criminal adversaries,” said Executive Producer Bill Harrison.

A mix of stunning computer graphics and live-action movies will immerse gamers in the rich world of the Tri-City Bay Area. The city’s open-world environment features over 80 miles of roads, including an enormous highway system that sets the stage for heart-pounding highway battles. These high-speed, high-stake chase sequences will push players to the limit as they fight off cops and opponents while whipping through traffic at 180 miles per hour.

An intelligent new A.I. mechanic delivers a realistic and high-energy action driving experience. Going back to the franchise’s roots, Need for Speed Undercover features more aggressive and intelligent cops whose sole purpose is to take down the player quickly and by any means necessary. Need for Speed Undercover also features the series’ signature car customization, real-world damage and realistic driving physics. The game includes some of the hottest licensed cars such as the Audi R8, BMW M6 and Lexus IS-F.

Need for Speed Undercover is being developed by Black Box in Vancouver, B.C., and will be in stores North America on November 18 and in Europe on November 21.
