Same. It was much better than I had imagined. The only things I'm slightly concerned about is the amount of content at launch, but I saw they are planning free updates.

I'm also unsure if I should get it on PS5 or PC, which is mainly why I'm waiting for impressions.

I can definitely see this being a sleeper hit though.

I feel like Sony just luckboxed into this game potentially being a massive hit. I know they funded and are publishing it, but HD2 is just a natural evolution for Arrowhead studio. I think it would have been made even if Sony was not all in on GAAS. I don't have anywhere near the amount of confidence in any of Sony's other GAAS games, which seem to be chasing trends

Finally a pure gameplay focused game from Sony. I haven’t seen that since Returnal/GT7. I’m thirsty. And those explosions look orgasmic.

Solo can be played on the lower difficulties. It'll likely be fun for a few hours as you unlock stuff, but the game was definitely designed for co-op play rather than solo play.
