At the start of every console's life cycle (maybe ever), some defective units show up with all kinds of problems. The PS360 gen was mostly known for the Red or Yellow Light of Death and people got scared to buy and get a problematic hardware. It was blood shed all over of the companies.
PS4 base and Pro was mostly for his HDMI and the disc ejecting out of nowhere, also the "cooler like a jet going into space" thing(?). Xbox One was to turn the power on, or the Kinect that didn't wanted to sync. Wasn't that bad in comparison with before, still not good thou.
Switch came and was basically the JoyCons, with some units with a display problem.
Now that consoles will support 120hz and ray tracing, maybe a GPU problem could happen? Audio problems because both consoles are HDMI? Some people said that the SoaC of the PS5 is heating, so we will see some light of death again?
Let's talk, Gaf
