Looking at PS4 Pro sales compared to the Slim, i'm half expecting Scorpio to not be released in Japan at all.

I got the grey model at launch but i'm kind of regretting it. They both look great though and the inverted neon colors sold standalone maybe look even better than the standard ones so i'm just gonna get those with Snipperclips packed in.

That's exactly what I did. The Neons look great.

Neon joycons look worse in pictures than irl yeah. Reminds me of the Nokia Lumia brand.
That said, I still prefer the gray ones, but that's mainly due to the current neon colors available. That new yellow is particularly awful too.

I'm still waiting on black if I ever get one. prefer the uniform colour and grey just reminds that's it not by being close but not quite.

Blaster Master Zero sales were just a part of an Inti Creates presentation at ToyBox, 4Gamer just posted more slides and details. If anyone's willing to translate the text, it could be interesting. At least the slides have english included

Additional numbers from there

Azure Striker Gunvolt - 180,000+ on eShop as of May 1st, 2017
Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 - 38,000 as of May 1st, 2017
Gal Gun Double Peace - 45,000 downloads from PSN as of December 31st, 2016
Gal Gun Double Peace has 42,000 downloads on PSN. Also, the physical versions sold 160,000 copies. That's quite impressive for what it is IMO.

GTAV would have to be the only game that comes close. Depends how much of minecraft total has been on phones, not sure of the breakdown. With minecraft continuing to find success on new platforms I'm not sure it will ever be topped as the best selling game of all time.
Weren't some of the DKC and Crash games multimillion sellers in Japan? Actually would something like Tetris count?

Nintendo needs to solve the issues before Splatoon 2 comes out

Supply issues, you mean? The answer is pretty much "order more from the factory then wait til they've build new assembly lines or whatever else is needed to accelerate production." It's not some obscure mystery, it's just the logistics of making millions of electronic toys.

DKC sold-in 3 million units in Japan and it's currently the best selling western-developed game in Japan for dedicated gaming consoles.

The only Crash Bandicoot game to have sold (slightly) more than 1 million in Japan is Crash 2 (well under 2M).

Crash 3 sold over a million units in Japan too though.

Returning from vacation, rejuvinated Dogs help shift "Project X" development into high gear. Crash 3 becomes the first foreign-developed title to pass the one million mark in Japan. Crash 2 is not far behind.

I was under the impression there's been bad blood between Arakawa and Nintendo due to Yamauchi choosing Iwata as his successor over Arakawa.

I thought Arakawa WAS the heir, but he actually refused the offer, likely not wanting to lead a giant company like Nintendo?

Why do i still feel like this isnt happening?

Realistically assuming Sony won't release another handheld in the near future, there is no reason for Atlus to not release a remake on a portable platform such as the Switch in a couple years, which by then, will have a well established userbase.

The worst of fanboys and console warrers will assume otherwise.

It would be weird to cut off a lucrative revenue stream they have been using for almost 10 years, re-releasing the persona games on handheld, just because of "reasons".

I mean they could always do a PS4 "Fes" type release and not make it for a handheld. But I do get what you guys are saying. Guess we will see...in like two years.

What would the point be for a PS4 Fes? I don't know how much revenue you could squeeze out of that.

I don't know if this has been brought up yet but it seems like SMT V might be Switch/PS4 multiplat....
