Switch is HD though.
It's obvious Aters is suggesting that he feels something more akin to a Vita level game is more likely than going straight to a PS4 level game.
Well, sure, but it's not like you can't make great looking ambitious games on the Switch, or any hardware really. Like, what about the Switch would prevent them from making an ambitious Monster Hunter game? May not look like Horizon but should look pretty respectable overall, certainly better than what they can pull off last gen or the VitaYes, but no Switch owners expect their games look as good as those on PS4, and I'm sure Capcom will take advantage of it, if they haven't already.
Maybe a little better than Vita, but no FFXV or Horizon that's for sure.

Oh of course it won't and Breath of the Wild's budget was most definitely smaller than most AAA games, seeing as it only needed to sell over 2 million to be profitable. It's just that, in this day and age, I think people will play just about anything so as long as the game looks fun and enjoyable and/or it's a franchise they love and so Capcom wouldn't feel a greater need to make something super ambitious with the PS4 than they would with the Switch, save for visuals. I mean, even something niche and comparatively less impressive than stuff like Uncharted 4 like Persona 5 and Nier Automata found some success (Thankfully!) on the same systemNot saying it won't be ambitious, but it sure won't take the same amount of budget. Breath of the Wild is a great looking ambitious game. I'd guess it has a smaller budget than most AAA games on the market.

Obviously that's a troll.BTW there was another leak recently in regards of MH PS4
http://boards.4chan.org/v/thread/379...ter-hunter-ps4
Obviously that's a troll.
There was however a supposed Ntkrnl leak mentioning MH5 for PS4/XB1/PC being announced at the Sony conference. That one was more interesting because, apparently, MS made a Capcom 3 deal back in 2011/12, back when they cared about Japan, and one of the 3 was to get in on multiplatform MH.
Not impossible and wouldn't shock me. It would be a risk-averse way of making a PS4 exclusive Monster Hunter that still looks good and appeals to Monster Hunter fans. It's not like people avoided, say, Persona 5 because it was a port of an unimpressive PS3 game or a game looking like Nier Automata or Bloodborne and, for those of whom who are really into Monster Hunter, a game not looking like Final Fantasy XV wouldn't turn them off from playing itSo it's just the 3rd option: a traditional MH game with smaller budget than AAA game on Swtich, also ported to PS4. The majority of the sales will be from Japan, on Switch in particular. Or are you suggesting that such a game might be a PS4 exclusive?
lolTake my bet. I ain't taking your E3 one as timing of the announcement was never the issue.
I can't get at it right now, but it's in /mhg/ on /vg/.Oooh. Got a link?
Obviously that's a troll.

Wait now switch is a little better than vita?
At least the talk of MH on the Vita made plenty of sense. This is just madness, yet again. I can't wait for E3 to be over. :V
Future Monster Hunter completely skipping Switch would raise serious questions about Nintendo's relevance to third parties. It would be a massive blow so I could definitely see Sony pushing for it.
A dozenSo the last two pages were about Monster Hunter 5?
Is 5 a couple? A few? Or several?
Crash on August 3rd.

If only they sell TPC to CcapcomWould Nintendo announce a 3DS only pkmn Stars, and then announce a switch port at the end of the year for spring 2018 to get double dippers?
shrug

I've been lurking in the sales gallows for many years now....
The truth of the matter is that the winds of change are coming, and we are truly not prepared for the storm the switch is about to cause
Don't worry the majority of this thread will discuss the possibility of ff7r, kh3, resident evil, persona 5 and many more for switch for the next couple of years or more. They actually started way before the system was even revealed. It will only get better now...
We have come a long way from ridiculing people for even mentioning mh for PS4 to now atleast acknowledging the possibility of it happening. Progress!!!
Yes I'm keeping my futile degenerate port begging locked deep in my heartSurprise Surprise. Pages of MH5 PS4 discussion and as far as I can tell no mention of ff7r, kh3, resident evil or persona 5 ports outside of this post.
Would rather avoid MH discussion there lol. Question to Vinnk here.
Considering Switch is high in demand right now in japan, how does it affect the game style of younger players in Japan who grow up with mobile game?
As, i remember hearing from some of my mobile gamer friend saying that they dont have enough time to play traditional game as the stamina is filling up.
If they wanna turn Pokémon into the next Yōkai Watch, sure.Would Nintendo announce a 3DS only pkmn Stars, and then announce a switch port at the end of the year for spring 2018 to get double dippers?

As far as fanboys GAF is dominated from SDF and it's not unexpected since it's a western forum and Japan was the only place Nintendo was relevant last generation, you shouldn't be surprised. They are just more annoying in Media Create threads because of PS4 situation.Surprise Surprise. Self Defense Force?
AhSony.
From my observations the kids in Japan (or at least my area of it) are not growing up with mobile games as much as kids in say the US. Most Japanese kids do not get their first mobile phone until High School. A lot play on their parents phones when they can borrow them but it is likely not their own account on the telephone. For example, I very rarely saw kids walking around alone playing Pokemon GO. It was usually their mom or dad's phone and the parent was usually in tow.
3DS is still a thing here and I see young kids with that device far more than phones. Can't go to any park without seeing a gaggle of kids engrossed in their duel screens. What has changed is I used to see HS kids and even adults with DS or PSPs all the time and that audience has mostly switched over to phones (the only exception is Monster Hunter fans and I occasionally see a HS kid playing Vita Minecraft).
Nintendo is doing pretty good with the gamer young adults. When Nintendo gets the price down, it will have no problem attracting the causal younger kids. It's the casual older kids and casual young adults that will be the harder sell in my opinion.

You're one to talk, using platform warrior acronyms.

5mln vs. 0,8mln
I wouldn't call it "little better"
