Curious will Microsoft ever be able to repeat a year like this given their affinity for subscriptions. Surely the quality will go down?

Gamepass came out in 2017.
So 4 years ago yet they still won best publisher in 2021.

Why would you assume or even think their quality would go down now instead of going up, putting bad games on a service will have people NOT subscribe to the service....putting good games on the service will have people join the service.
Your logic doesnt add up.

I think GT7 has fallen down to 87 now, it's in part due to the emphasis on cross gen games that could continue for all we know.
Luckily Starfield isn't held back in that way.

I'm confused by your post. There has been no fanboys before your post, then you come and say the fanboy train has arrived, and then say it was a genius move.

They use all scored products so both versions are taken into account

Having under reviewed games will skew scores massively.

Same way the games with hundreds of reviews tend to get skewed downward
