I thought the results of the Street Fighter character ranking were interesting and not what I expected so, for funsies, thought it would be cool to see who the NeoGAF community's favorite Mortal Kombat characters are!

RULES!

These have changed from the SF ranking as a couple people said there were too many characters to rate (I agree). This has been simplified so for this ranking, you will need to:

Send me a PM (don't post your list in this thread) with a list of your top 5 Mortal Kombat characters. These need to be ordered from your most favored (#1) to least (#5). The #1 character will be given 5 points, #2 will be given 4 points etc - example below:

1. LIU KANG (+5 POINTS)
2. SCORPION (+4 POINTS)
3. SUB ZERO (+3 POINTS)
4. SHAO KHAN (+2 POINTS)
5. RAIDEN (+1 POINT)

At the end of the week, I will add scores together and post the results!

Sub-Zero is hands down better character. Even with the push NRS has given to make Scorpion as the poster boy for MK, It is still Sub-Zero who is more recognisable in MK in my locality.

Looks like I’m the one who likes Stryker. I remember working at a movie theatre that had a MK3 cabinet set to the hardest difficulty. You could get all the way to Sheva by spamming Strykers grenade toss.

I’m a Stryker enjoyer too! Especially in MK3/Trilogy. His redesign in Armageddon was shocking though lol, didn’t really try him in MK9
