New Details for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League (It's gonna have battle pass)

Deluxe Edition will cost £99.99 - gets you the game 3 days early. Get battle pass points + extra costumes.
Day One Edition - £69.99 - you get the extra costumes
Game details:
Real time weather (stated in trailer, did not see an example)
Day/Night cycle (stated in trailer, did not see an example)
Metropolis is twice the size of Gotham in Arkham night.
Rocksteady are working on 1 year of extra content - new characters and missions were mentioned
They state clearly you can play the game co op online or play it all solo and switch between the 4 different characters (I don't know if this is seamless switching)
Trailer makes a point that the player should play HOW they want to. Makes a point that each character has distinct traversal and distinct combat. Deadshot is gunplay the others are more melee focused.
Have no details on microtransactions or xp or anything games as a service.

Fuck that battle pass in a supposedly single player game. Already working on year 1 extra content? Then expect a half-assed incomplete based game I guess. Nothing really is exciting.

Rocksteady is probably the real king that knows how to make great superhero games, but they are just gonna stigmatized by all those GaaS shit, after all those 8 years.

Working on the content for the next year looks expected for a GaaS. You have to work on the next season content early enough to get it ready.
but yeah, it’s going to also include all the shit publishers like to put in GaaS and why they are really pushing for GaaS.

There's no saving this game, no matter what they do. They shouldn't killed the project years ago.

It'll be curious to see what they do after this flops, will they survive and regroup, or will the studio get killed off like so many others?

Who cares about a battle pass as long as it's just cosmetics, let the whales enjoy themselves while us normal freaks can just not buy it.

If it's game altering stuff they can go stick their heads in a pig.

Rocksteady were on fire. I knew once the original duo departed the studio would lose the magic. This just doesn’t look good.

What "singleplayer game" are you talking about? Have you've been living in a cave over the last half decade that we've known that Rocksteady's next game was a coop multiplayer?

Also, you clearly know nothing about how game development works. Post-launch content, whether you're a live-service or a singleplayer title, always has to be planned and go through pre-production before release as long as you don't want to have your DLC release a year and a half (Resident Evil: Village) or two years after launch (Tales of Arise) just because you never planned for it in advance.

Imagine defending crappy business moves and being this pretentious, smh.

This game has online co-op mode, but it has a single player core, a story focused campaign that can be solo'ed from start to finish. It is a one and done experience. It should have just stayed this way. Why would the heck you need a post-launch battle pass? If you want to sell cosmetics, just sell DLCs. C'mon, this is no Fortnite no Destiny.

The leak says they are working on year one contents, and you just conveniently spun it to be pre-production. We don't know that. We don't know if they planned enough contents for launch. There are enormous precedents that GaaS games launched with barren base games only wishing to be fixed by post launch contents, why would I give a benefit of doubt this time?
