Anything you buy on the WiiU eShop is eligible for DDP, even if you use club nintendo coins on a game you will still get points for however much that game cost

Another month gone, and we still have no release date for Shovel Knight. At some point even the people telling the delay haters to calm down are going to start to get fed up.

Bring on the new Club Nintendo year, so I can start buying more digital stuff! (Guess I can start buying next week, though, since the registrations expire 30 days later. Hmmm.)

As someone who buys digital stuff do you really think hitting platinum will be that hard this upcoming year? They've got a ton of stuff dropping in those months and the extra points from third party stuff always giving you points should tip the balance.

Ever since I've got mostly digital only I've had no problem hitting the target...though one of those years was uncommonly good for releases...

Yeah, this is getting pretty bad. A little worried about the future of that game at this point.

I've still got a fairly large backlog to play, so I'm not aching for things to play + had been trying to go over Platinum level as little as possible before the last three years. I'm not concerned about missing Platinum, but there is 0 need for additional coins this year, so why pile more on, if it's not needed. :p With physical, it's not an issue, as I just physically hold onto the codes for a few years or something. With digital automatically registering, have to be more careful with the timings there. :)

If Nintendo is saving any indie game for an e3 week hey, we got this game on the store right now, it's Shovel Knight. I'm not saying it is guaranteed to happen, but I think it is quite likely.

I could see that. It's essentially a Nintendo & PC exclusive. Maybe they'll lump Armillo in there because I know they were trying to submit around now.

Need to get an eShop card for Yumi's Odd Odyssey. Glad to see it go on sale. & totally recommend Pushmo & Crashmo. Can't wait to get Pushmo World.

Thanks for the answer.

I found this on Nintendo site: http://en-americas-support.nintendo...re-eligible-for-the-deluxe-digital-promotion?

"Content purchased in the Wii Shop, the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS, and the Nintendo eShop for the Basic 8GB Wii U system is not eligible. DLC purchases within games (including the Day Pass for Wii Sports Club) are not eligible."

And on the Wii Sport Club site: http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/23dwBGv7QCFrP08BKcqDpsq-6hxvaaTB

"Wii Sports Club Day Passes are not eligible for the Deluxe Digital Promotion."

Well, I think Club pass ($9.99) give you points after all :)

Speaking of DDP, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the free game from MK8 does indeed give DDP points, so that's an automatic $5 eShop credit on top of your free game.

Yeah. That was a great surprise for me too. MK8(digital)+Pikmin 3=$10 bucks for free :D

Wonderful. 20% off eShop points from Best Buy + $5 DDP + additional $5 DDP = MK8 + another game for $38 after it's all put together. :)

I didnt know day passes from Wii Sports club were not eligible, but yea buying the Sports clubs game are.

I brought DLC for Tank Tank Tank and got DDP credit lol, I guess since its F2P it counted

Been asking around in other threads and havent gotten an answer so thouught I would ask here.

When buying a full retail digital game, to get Cn coins, you have to take the survey acknowledging the purchase. How many days after the purchase do you get to fill this survey out? Thanks.

It usually tells you right under the survey icon in Club Nintendo. It's usually like a good 6-12 months, but I'm not exactly sure on those numbers. I just know you get quite a bit of time to fill out the surveys before they expire.

So you are referring to the post play surveys I believe. My question is in regards to the one immediately after ourchasing for the initial 50 coins for purchasing the title.

I think it's 30 days. My MK8 product regustration survey expires at the end of June. I don't know the exact date since I can't log in at the moment, but if you download it a couple days from now I think that might push it back enough to get the coins toward next year's platinum.

Ah, that was my intent. I really want to buy it tomorrow since weekend and what not. I assume with 30 days Id have until July 1st that way.

I like your avatar btw, howd you get it.

I managed to get logged in. MK8, which I bought at exactly midnight May 30th, expires June 28th. Pikmin 3, which I redeemed and downloaded around 7am on May 30th expires June 29th.

My avatar is from Wii Sports Club, the screen right after you choose how many players in a local game. I used the Wii U browser to upload a screenshot and cropped the Mii from there.

My issue with it is will the CN site be up right on July 1st. Am planning on waiting until Wednesday or Thursday to purchase it, just to give some leeway there.

Do you think itd be down July 1 due to all the people trying to access the site?

That or they might have some technical difficulty with the transition of the CN year. It's not unheard of for the CN site to have issues at such times (like now). :p Just don't want to risk the coins vs. waiting a few days.

That said, if something did happen that caused issues with the site, I'm sure customer service would work it out for you in the end. I just am not so desperate to play the game *now* that I can't wait a few days as buffer. :)

I'm still in doubt about Arkham Origins. I've heard it's the worst version with a terrible frame rate and I don't like the way the WiiU version has been treated when it comes to dlc.

But... With my five euro premium reward from the free game for Mario Kart it's only ten bucks.

Hold the phone here. Pushmo World is cheaper if you purchased one of the previous games?

How does that work? I purchased both of the previous games when they launched.

The deal is only confirmed for Europe so far I think, but if they bring it over to NA, it should only require that you own one of the first two on a 3DS that has the same NNID linked as your Wii U when you purchase Pushmo World.

Was just about to ask the same question. Megaton?

I dunno if this is the right spot to mention it, but the update for Grinsia (3DS eShop/Americas) is up! Just downloaded it, but I'm not near the part where that awful glitch was so I'm not sure if it fixed that. I think it did.

1001 Spikes, Yumi's Odd Odyssey and (hopefully?) Shovel Knight for me this month.

I'm also hopeful we'll get Murasame and Game & Watch 3 on the VC side, and since that E thing is next week, maybe a surprise release or two?

Oooh. How is that game, by the way? It sure does LOOK the part, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind even a middling game in this style, so as long as it didn't overstay its welcome.

I really hope that Pushmo cross-buy discount comes to NA, but NoA are dicks and since they know I'll pay literally any price for Pushmo, they won't do it just to spite me.
