Hey

I'm trying to play GTA:SA on PC but it keeps rebooting my computer once I start a game and the opening cutscene starts playing

Whats wrong?


I've tried adjusting the settings, the farthest I got in the opening cutscene is to where Carl is taken into custody by the cops

Even when I skip the cutscene it still crashes after I take a few steps

I have
P4 3ghz
1gig of ram
GF4 TI 4200 vid card


What happened?!

Make sure you update your sound card and video card drivers and install DiretX 9 from the CD. If that doesn't work, drop the hardware acceleration of the video card (from display properties) one notch, and do the same for the sound acceleration (from run -> dxdiag).
