Today I bought an open box Panasonic DO-UB820-K to replace my Sony UBP x700 which froze randomly with different discs. Movies started up faster and didnt freeze. Watched a little Interstellar and messed with the HDR optimizer, then Godzilla vs King Kong. That has great picture quality and sound. Since getting an Atmos setup and now this player, I want to rewatch my whole 4K collection.

I recently watched The Mummy (1999) and The Mask of Zorro in 4K. I was very suprised how good The Mummy looked and HDR is great.

I been waiting for the LG UBK90 to drop back down to $179. Was on sale a couple of months ago for that price. I dont need all the bells and whistles . Just want a dedicated UHD Bluray player with decent performance.
