Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 VR Fan Remake Looks Amazing

Updates on the project from Guido Mariano are being shared over on Twitter, including the below look at the lightsaber melting effect seen when you hold the blade up against a surface. The original Jedi Outcast used this to great effect, giving you a sense of just how dangerous the weapon was.

There’s also some very early grey box demos below, complete with Stormtroopers and their rifles. Marino also has a Patreon subscription setup for anyone that wants to follow the project.

That's a completely different thing to what you made this thread for and there's a thread for it too, ya know (granted the title is missing a "2" there). If you want updates on your OP's project there are recent stuff like this, though it's had a pretty troubled development that will hopefully pick up.

Looks like trash and it seems to play like trash. Star Wars is trash btw.

Download via Sidequest.

Meta Quest: https://sidequestvr.com/app/15472/jk-xr

Pico 4: https://sidequestvr.com/app/15541/jk-xr-pico

Instructions: https://github.com/DrBeef/JKXR_public

Basically: Install via Sidequest, start application once and allow permissions, copy over games files (assets0.pk3, assets1.pk3, assets2.pk3, assets5.pk3) from PC to VR headset (into folder Jedi Outcast\GameData\base). Done: You can now play full Jedi Knight 2 in VR!

The comments mostly appreciate the hard work of the creators and are eagerly waiting to try the game. Some users are finding it difficult to install the game correctly.
