Haha, it's just that I never initiate a conversation on Steam so adding folks myself feels pointless. On the other side of the coin, though, if people want me on their friends list, I'm all for it!
So, all of you people gushing about The Swapper, what are your thoughts on Gateways?
It totally did the whole 'puzzle metroidvania with clones' shtick before Swapper. Can't say I cared much for the final puzzle, couldn't solve it even with a Youtube video showing a solution, but everything before that was great.
Highly recommended if you finished Swapper and are in the mood for more.

Here's a crapload of Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 keys that I grabbed for free a long time ago and stuck into a text file. Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
I can log in with my regular hotmail (which is, in turn, used irregularly), as it's the only one I know. But apparently, going by the file systems in Dark Souls and such, I assigned the game's key to something like EatChildrenAU.
But I don't even know what that is! I can't log in with EatChildrenAU + password, because GFWL demands a full address like EatChildrenAU@hotmail.com. I'm fairly certain I never made one of those, and always used just EatChildrenAU.
I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.

An Acti member staff told me that they won't remove the first ASM because of the agreement with Sony... but we don't know... it's Acti and they can do whatever they want!

Hope this supposed limited tier for HBX isn't true...I'm in Melbourne and by the time I wake up tomorrow it will have been running for hours. If it's limited I expect key-resellers to jump on it and snap them up pretty quickly. Am I being paranoid or should I set an alarm?

Was there a rumour recently that Ever 17 would make it onto Steam at one point? I recently got Steam to see what would happen, so Just wondering if there was anything in the rumor or it was nonsense.

There's no way they'll drop the Transformers license with a new move coming out. They'll try to capitalize off of that at least.

If it's something physical or even a collection of previous HB games, I wouldn't be interested. If it was a bunch more games for $15 or something though then I would bite. Hmmm....what to do...

What I don't get is why Activision (and others) don't make a big deal out of it. You know "the game will be removed in two weeks, buy it now!"
You think they would get a lot of sales from people on the fence.
By that time, the property has probably already been written off/compensated for, so the amount of fucks given by the suits is probably less than zero.
We're looking to early 2015, not this year -- Acti's already dropped what it's deemed useless (its Marvel contract with the exception of Spider-Man). It's worth noting that Skyfall's success didn't stop Acti from ditching the James Bond licence just three months later.
Family Guy and Ice Age seem like the most obvious candidates to me but it basically boils down to how much money Acti would be refunded -- if come January 2015 there's just, say, three months remaining on the agreement, or the licence cost peanuts in the first place, then Acti would probably make more bank by discounting the game/s instead.
Awesome giveaway! Was going to wait for the next Steam sale but now I might have a chance to play it early.
