I'm definitely liking Shadows of Mordor the more I play it.
One of the few games where I might have been too quick to judge.

It happens sometimes. When i first played X-com 2012, I put over an hour into it and walked away kinda feeling like ehhhhhhhhh.

The next session i had with it was over 6 hours long. The good ones, man, when they get you they get you good.

It's not about waiting. Games shouldn't go 50% off inside a month from release. There should be some 'ethics' about when and by how much you discount your game for the first time. 50% off after one month on the market is a no no. It also means that your are self-inflicted-ly increasing tendencies of people waiting to for sales to buy their games and bringing forth a reality of 'never buying Steam games on launch'.

the golden rule for anyone, regardless of how much a person wants a game, is:

In regards to PA: It's their game, to do with it as they see fit. When others threw their money at an uncertainty, they can't get mad when what they got was an uncertainty.

In regards to being mad about the PA discount: Just don't buy games on day one and you'll be ok. If you are, then be aware of the fact that what you pay for today, someone will pay less for tomorrow.

I think i saw something about Cook, Serve, Delicious supporting it not too long ago. Can't remember any others off the top of my head.

Uber appears to be the exception here, though. Most devs seem to be doing a good job with this stuff. but still, people are learning what they're getting: they're paying into a risk, and part of that is knowing that you might not see a thing when it's all said and done.

And it seems like EA/Kickstarter games have already suffered due to stuff like this. People are learning, and will continue to learn.

Well hey, they just launched a new Kickstarter project: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/659943965/human-resources-an-apocalyptic-rts-game. $1.4m target is pretty damn high, especially considering their reputation and the cherry on top is the kickstarter decline news yesterday (although there are actual reasons for the decline too, it's not just loss of interest).

I'm not going to lie, I want a game similar to what they are pitching. I just don't see this kickstarter succeeding.

Faced the same issue with my DS3 a while ago and I eventually got used to it. Takes some time tho. As others stated, there is no universal mod for all games sadly. I just ended up buying a Xbox One controller heh.

I haven't play Xbox in a long time. It does take a while to get used to. X(

I always get confused when games tell me to press bumpers or triggers. Since I've never used an Xbox controller I have no idea what they are. They could be talking about triangle for all I know.
