See, everyone always says the Skyrim (and Oblivion) UIs are built for a controller, but they're just as bad, if not worse, with a controller as they are KB/M. They were built to be shit.

Oh yeah. Last time I was this broke I was in an apartment with an unemployed friend, working as a bagger at a local grocery store, raking in 8 hours a week, stealing our Bakery trash to bring home to eat and putting mustard into my ramen for a "hot cooked meal."
Luckily I have an absolutely amazing girlfriend right now that has been buying all the food, so I haven't reached that level yet, haha. Also, moving back home with the fam has helped a lot, since no rent.

IKEA makes a laptop table that's really really nice for kb/m on the couch. It's basically this:
You can pull it all the way up to the couch if you want to slouch or lie down. It's small-ish so you can keep it off to the side for those games you play with a gamepad but sometimes need a keyboard for (FFXIV, for instance). I've been using it for years.
The only drawback is that the table, called "Dave," isn't made anymore, and has been replaced by the almost-identical "Svartasen" (which might be just as good or might be crap, who knows).

you guys are crazy with all your gifting. I only had enough spare cash to gift two games, and even then they were pretty cheap ones at that(but good games tho)

It's not as popular a game as most people think, at least not on Steam. While sales data is unknown, there's never been more than 642 people playing it at once (according to SteamCharts). For a game that inexpensive and from such a popular franchise, those are extremely low numbers, even for an offshoot game.
Now if Halo 1 or 2 PC would ever get onto Steam (and have trading cards)...that'd be a different story for sure.

Same here. :X I just want to believe that it will run on my computer and refuse to accept otherwise! My computer has a hard time running The Witcher 2. I need to build a better computer as well!
I mean I could have dual titans right now, but it really wouldn't get much use and that money is probably better off gifting games to people who otherwise can't afford them.

I have a Dave and i love it. I use it most of the time for my laptop but also for my wireless keyboard & mouse when I hookup my pc to my tv. It's nice.

The person in that picture didn't pull it all the way in. I just checked mine (a Dave) and the very front of the stand (the adjustor knob) is 9" from the front of the table, so she could probably pull that thing another 3-4" closer.
The top of the feet are 1.25" off the floor.
