I'm hoping it turns out great. I'm cautious though. I'll wait for reviews and impressions.
The animations for shooting into melee look lacking.
This game looks like it'd be at home on the PS3/360 designwise or very early PS4/One.
janky and some not great animation. Combat flow and enemy encounters don't seem particularly good either.
I mean If you wanna suffer through the game again. At least play it on emulator 60 fps or somethingI should hook up the Wii U and do a campaign run on Devil's Third again to get pumped up.

looks like it could be fun, but this, & this alone, is enough to keep me well away. it's actually painful...Yeah 50 finishers and only two annoying death screams that constantly repeat. Way to go.
Not sure why they call themselves the makers of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive when most of the people who
worked on those games are still at Team Ninja
Yep.wasnt this itagaki's old team that he left with after NG2
We spent hours playing the upcoming fast-action hack-n-slash/third-person shooter Wanted: Dead ahead of its February 14 release for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC – and we quite liked its cheesy throwback feel. Previewed on PC by Travis Northup.
Seems like a much slower gun kata game. Something new. Doesn't look like Devils Third either.Ehh I dunno looks kinda jank. Doesnt remind me of NG at all
Its another case of Itagaki over estimating his ideas with budget, damn shame cause he could actually make another classic if he wasnt so touchy feelyThis does not look like a full budget but full priced game, it's $60 USD... that seems too much for what this video shows, it looks like it's lacking a little. The animations for shooting into melee look lacking.

The Ninja Gaiden thing is a pretty steep claim, and it doesn't seem warranted.
Coming out on Valentine's Day for maximum irony. It's going to be great. What the hell. How have I never seen this game. This basically looks like Joanna Wick: Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.
It's definitely a $40 game for me. If it reviews well I'll grab it once discountedLooks like a budget game I wouldn't even pay $60 for it. Not sure why the DOA Xtreme Volleyball reference as I didn't see any bouncy breasts.
Terrible, terrible voice acting.
I'm guessing it's on the ground only except for contextual jumps or drops.Does anyone know if there is any traversal in the game or are you stuck on the ground? In all the gameplay footage so far I haven't seen the main character jump or leap off anything in the environment.

I noticed that as well and isn’t this from predominantly Japanese developers? To appeal to the West I guess? They seem obsessed with practicality and realism for some weird reason.I dunno what it is with these over the top games meant to be cheesy and fun still having the most dull and unimaginative character designs still.
Check out this exclusive action-packed Wanted: Dead launch trailer for another look at the upcoming third-person action game. In Wanted: Dead you play as a member of the zombie unit, an elite Hong Kong police squad that's out to uncover a major corporate conspiracy. Its definitely fun but hard as wellEverything I’ve seen screams amazing to me.
Looks like a cult classic incoming.
