tl;dr
For me it's really disconcerting when women look out of place. Like the "one" in TLOU.
I don't care if you want to make muscled up ladies as long as it fits the world you are crafting. If that world is a realistic one and you try to fit in a she hulk where it completely doesn't make sense, then yeah, that ain't gonna jive with me.
Put one in a fighting game or universe with other similarly shaped guys and gals? That's up to you. I prob wouldn't play as them because that's not my thing at all, but I wouldn't complain as everyone else's physique is exaggerated as well so no harm done to my immersion.
As for making them attractive... I don't know man. If that's what the dev wants to go for then they should be able to without getting pressure by others within the industry to change them. If they want to make a more homely looking gal then that's fine as well.
Note, this doesn't mean fans and consumers. Consumers are allowed to voice their opinions or give pressure in whatever mature way they see fit. This is how consumerism works when one is attached to a brand .etc. Just don't do the cancel mob crap. If something is already in a game, then it's there. Voice your opinion, vote with your wallet and leave it be. Cross your fingers that the next entry is better. Thing is, sometimes devs have certain standards of things they are ok with changing to appease their audience while not sacrificing their vision for the game they are making. Sometimes they DO look to their audience for ideas and guidance. So speaking out to let them know what you would like in a constructive manner, the opposite of the cancel squads, is key.
I think the issue is that within the industry itself we have SJW's like Anita infecting a lot of these western devs and execs and convincing (read pressuring at the threat of the outrage cancel mob and whatever other friends she/they have to leverage...) them to... make them less sexy or "more relatable to the average female" or a multitude of other feminist ideals... So it's really hard to know now when we see a homely looking gal in a game if it was because of that agenda or not. And I'd rather not have that ideology infect a series that I love. Or infect every AAA game since they are so few and even fewer that interest me.
As for everything else, I'll just voice my opinion in a constructive way according to my personal beliefs and morals so that devs know that there are people like me who do or don't care for certain things if they are looking to their audience to help shape their decisions and creative process. But I'll not force them upon anyone and demand that they change something. Unless they turn Master Chief into a woman... Or trans... Or anything else that would fit a certain "woke" propaganda.... Then you'll hear my fury. Leave already established characters alone gat dangit.
