One of the greatest video game characters from one of the greatest video games ever. Not a sex symbol. Just a bad ass.

Mods delete if you'd like. I'd argue this post is no more low effort than the excuses or rather accusations of why people don't like Abby.

I don't understand why people are so hung up about her built ( Disclaimer: I haven't finished the game)

Games are filled with unrealistic bodies. I don't particularly like the design but I would defend it with the same energy that I'd put into defending huge boobs and asses and bikini armor (which I do like).

Its not about being big. Ever watch the WNBA? Brienne for GOT? Serena Williams is big. Its about large amounts of lean muscle mass.

Peak athlete at the top of her sport constantly accused of PEDS, constantly having to take above average amounts of random blood and urine tests:

People rag on about the muscles ( as do I ) but the core reason why people don't like her is because of the toxic SJW ideology she represents.

Cuckman is incredibly political. He is completely consumed by the church of woke. Abby is 100% representative of that and most gamers don't want that BS in their games.

I like Abby perfectly fine as a character. I just find it strange in a world with limited resources she finds the time and proper calorie intake to maintain that muscle mass. Just kind of bazaar.

Ive read about 1000 posts about Abby and her muscular body. I work out hard, no gear, and I dont like women that are muscular. Personally I think they should just be curvy and slight tone.

They can do what they want with their body though as it belongs to them.

But when did video games ever hold to realistic designs for anything?

Exactly this. I remember a few years back when designs were under fire for excessive sex appeal. How unrealistic the bodies were and the outfits. Detractor said that games are unrealistic by nature.

Now it's the other way around. They are pushing their own kind of porn and the design is being criticized.

Now is the time to break the cycle. Let's push for devs designing characters however they like. People that like those designs can buy the game and those who don't, can STFU.

That's how they wanted Abby to look. Nothing else is relevant...

Just as a note: Mad Max lived out of 300 ml of water a day and sometimes ate dog food. A real person would probably not be able to run around like he did and would probably die after a few weeks of that diet.

If you pretend your game is realistic you either go realistic or you just don't.
Saying she's built like that because she has access to a gym means nothing since she would never get that muscle mass without years of traning, steroids, and lots of food

The media is doing this deliberately. If you create disharmony and disunity amongst people, you can influence society ( a form of social engineering) in ways they wouldn’t normally be influenced. You can create a society that people wouldn’t otherwise accept.

I’ve said it before but if it’s important to show woman in more masculinized ways, why do they have to be veangeful, hateful people who kill like psychopaths? If this is your way of trying to create more acceptance of different people and creating more inclusion, why show them in the most horrific way humans can act? Druckmann is doing no service to these people, he’s creating conflicting messages to cause disunity. To ignite anger. This is all deliberate and if you don’t believe it you need to put down your controller and go outside.

Damn, caught myself from almost doing something stupid with spoilers.

Edit - So what is the consensus for talking about open spoilers? 1 month after launch, 6? Not like I'm drooling at the mouth to talk about it outside of the spoiler thread, just curious.

Of course you didn't, that was their excuse for her design though.
Also she's mostly hated for her actions, not exactly for her design which people make more fun of instead of hating it.
