Looks like they're making the lightsaber (or at least Kanan's) look like the way McQuarrie drew them, too.

Is this supposed to be an earlier revision of the Star Destroyer? It looks a bit different.

By the time it was pulled, view count was at 103 and that's it.
Lucasfilm lucked out on this one if all that got out were screencaps. I capped what I could, but the only way I could install the video downloader would be to restart the browser - which would kill the video regardless.
Also, I guess they upped this thing back on the 21st.

Here's my recap
1. The Ghost flying towards Lothal.
V.O.: IN A TIME OF DARKNESS...
2. An Imperial frigate launches TIE fighters in pursuit of the Ghost.
3. Ezra looks up from a balcony as a Star Destroyers passes overhead.
V.O.: WHEN FEAR RULED THE GALAXY...
4. A squad of stormtroopers march in formation in a Death Star-like hallway
5. Sabine looks over an Imperial base with TIE fighters on the ground
V.O.: HEROES WILL RISE...
6. Zeb pulls out his staff. There are Ugnaughts in the background in a hangar.
7. Chopper running around the Ghost.
8. Hera pulls the lever and the Ghost jumps to hyperspace
V.O: DESTINIES WILL COLLIDE
9. Kanan: "Who is that kid!?"
10. Ezra on a speeder bike in a Lothal highway.
V.O.: AND THE REBELLION WILL IGNITE
11. A stormtrooper looks at at a thermal detonator embedded in the middle of a graffiti'd wall, which promptly explodes.
12. Sabine: "Get ready..."
13. Chopper pulls a lever.
13. Kanan: "Now!"
14. Artificial gravity goes off, Kanan, Ezra and Zen start floating, and start shooting at similarly careening stormtroopers.
15. Chopper floats off with Sabine hanging on.
TITLE CARD: THIS FALL
16. More TIE Fighters flying and shooting.
17. Agent Kallus gets caught in an explosion.
TITLE CARD: THE SAGA CONTINUES
18. The heroes run towards the Ghost, blasting as they go.

It's meant to be a cross between McQuarrie concept painting and an Episode IV style Star Destroyer. The ones in TESB and ROTJ look different.
This is just my guess, but when they started brainstorming this show, neither the Episode VII script was done nor had they decided what exactly they were going to do with the EU. They just made the decision to stay far away from anything that might be covered in a future movie while still moving forward to the OT timeline.

Probably gonna go the way Clone Wars did, first season will look like trash compared to later seasons when they can allocate more budget towards improving lighting and extra detail and all that jazz.
I really don't like the main dude's design though. I don't mind his captain generic face, I mean I get it whatever, but his clothes just look... bad. Can't really explain why.

I think some of those stand alone movies they're going to make during Episode off years will fill in that gap.

Karen Traviss did worse things to the mandalorians than Disney could ever pull of.
Besides that's not canon anymore.
All we know is that Boba and Jango were bounty hunters using their armor and the so called mandos were exiled by the peacefull ones.
Oh, I'm not defending Traviss, but I can't but help remember how awesome the KotOR Mandaorians were compared to what they are now.

Looks similar to Clone Wars art style. The low detail and 3D models make it easy and cheap to animate.

I just want to see Stormtroopers and people being blasted and killed, no pulling punches and making this into GI Joe where everyone just gets hurt or escaping the explosions at the last minute. As long as it doesn't seem neutered in the violence and they are willing to have people die, then I have faith in the team working on this.
How does it not cut it anymore? Not really any other CG cartoons going on that really look any better? TCW just ended, it set a high bar but was probably the most expensive TV cartoon being made. They already seem to have confirmed that the budget on this will be lower than TCW.

hope the lightsaber duels feel less, roboticy vs TCW which felt almost turn based.
And I still find it strange that in today's environment, they can do a kids show where the protagonists are pretty much terrorists.

This is a show geared toward children, with some crossover appeal to adults. I fully expect it to dial back the violence from TCW. It's Disney XD, do you see that level of violence in their other shows?

Star Wars and Return of the Jedi were never particularly violent (granted Empire Strikes Back was a bit more graphic, with the snow beast and Luke getting his hands cut off).
I hope there's a bigger focus on "adventure" rather than battles and war stuff.

Does look alright in motion, still hate the look of the troopers helmets, way overdone.
Hopefully it sticks. Still want to see troopers getting blasted, as every piece we've seen so far just has the good guys punching or knocking out stormtroopers. As long as they are willing to keep it like the movies and show people staying down, that's fine, let it be light hearted and more fun adventure oriented series.

The screenshots above show the Satine character sticking a bomb to a parked TIE Fighter and killing about 4 or 5 stormtroopers in one go.

Looks fine to me, but it could look like the new TMNT film and I wouldn't care if the story is good. It better be good.
Looked a thousand times better than the cg series ever did.

It appears that we might be seeing Obi Wan in Rebels from this leaked toy image. He's marked as Rebels version and has a unique look. On same line you see another Obi Wan whose marked as CW

I don't know if you can say that with certainty, this is Disney, if they aren't throwing the exact right amount of money they want at it from out the gate then I don't know what they'll do.
Clone wars got better animation after season 2, but this looks similar...but very different.
