Borderlands: The Handsome Collection |OT| All Jacked Up

I mean, I only own this game on 360, Xbox One, PC, and PS Vita, so it stands to reason I'd be the one to have problems with LOYALTY rewards.

It's a bit lame to me that the "loyalty rewards" only work within their respective platform families.

Am looking forward to the increased drop rates for the next week, though. Time to powerlevel!

Well I've been sitting here for nearly an hour trying to figure out how to take advantage of the loyalty program and I just can't figure it out. I've created a SHIFT account, and my PS4 is signed into Gearbox Software Shift. My PS4 is asking for a Shift code, but I have no code as of yet

I log into my Shift account, and there's nothing at all to do there. All the support sites seem to be redirecting me in circles.

Would any kind soul please break down what needs to be done, start to finish? I did have Borderlands 1 and 2 digital copies on my PS3. I am starting fresh on PS4 though, so did not import any characters from the old consoles. I'm unsure if that disqualifies me from the loyalty program or not.

Thanks for any help :)

Did they say anything on releasing a patch on Xbox One that suppose to fix the cross save? Every time I bring in my character from The Pre-sequel I lose all my badass points and customized heads and colors.

I loaded up my broken character (no BAR, missing heads and skins) after the patch today and some stuff was now there, but most of it was still missing. So I deleted the character and re-imported it using the same save and everything showed up - including the loyalty rewards. I had to redo all of my BAR points though which took me an hour. I hope I never have to do that again.
I haven't tried transferring another character yet because I'm afraid it will reset my BAR again. =/

For some reason I still received the loyakity rewards even though I played on Xbox 360 and got the handsome collection on PS4.
oh, that gives me "hope" (i still got my 70+ golden keys from here all hamstered up), but it'd still be nice to get some extra for having played BL2 on the 360 (and PC as well!)

maybe it knows because you connected your games to their shift servers?

Maybe... it even gave a lot of bad ass tokens too.

Finished the Holodrome and Claptastic Voyage the other day. Originally I was a bit iffy on Claptastic Voyage, but the further you get the more it goes off the rails and it's fairly meaty so I love it now, only complaint I have for it is the final boss feels difficult enough to be like soloing a raid boss, best I got it to was 1/4th of its HP before I died and joined a matchmaking game with some people to beat it.

And of course there was this gem (sidequest spoilers) which I now can't get out of my head

Holodrome I didn't have much fun with at all, but a littlebit more story dialog post-2 was nice.
Loyalty rewards are now re-enabled + they upped the legendary drop rate for BL2 and TPS until April 7th.[/URL]
I was wondering why I got a legendary drop in a really low level area out of the blue earlier, guess this explains it.

Picked up a used copy of the PS4 version last night, figuring I could just return it if I didn't notice a big difference.

So while the game and update were installing I fired up the 360 version of BL2, and when you really stop and smell the roses, it looks great. I tried taking note of the details on the guns and environments, as well as the response time when playing.

All I can say is wow. The difference in graphical quality is immediate right from the title screen, and the response time is so smooth. I understand it dips into the 40s here and there, but overall, it's a joy to play, and a world of difference in feel. This is now the second fps title (the first being MCC), where the smoothness of controls jumped out at me.

It's a keeper!

Lol that song is great. I've been too busy leveling up my mechromancer in BL2 to get into TPS but I've heard good things about Claptastic Voyage. Can't wait to check it out.

Has anyone lost any saves on this?
I've just started the game and there's no sign of my save file. No option to continue only new game.
I definitely picked save and quit when I stopped playing earlier. I'm only a few hours in, but I'm now going to be petrified of it happening again.
It's put me right off. Oh I'm on the Xbox one.

How does split screen coop work on ps4? My wife and I have separate psn accounts. Can I sign in as player 1 and she sign in as player 2, and earn trophies indepenently?

Is the fact that
Roland, Lilith, Mordecai and Brick are the protagonists from the first game
supposed to be something that you know coming in or did I just miss something glaringly obvious earlier in the game? I had no idea seeing as I didn't play the original and only found out from looking at the wiki

Hit level 50 today and farmed for a Bee Shield + bought an Unkempt Harold with Torgue tokens. Absolutely wrecking everything now, it feels good!

Well I decided to finally buy this today. Updated BL2 on PS3 and uploaded my character. Import onto PS4, get my badass rank but only have 1 key! Given I know I had a lot more than that on PS3 and I should've received another 75 keys wondering if this is a bug and if it has happened to anyone else?

Golden keys don't carry over in saves, but did you log in to shift in the game? I think you need to do that and the keys show up. You'd have 76 then. Gearbox also had a code for 25 keys, if that's still live.

Is it normal that I can't see friends playing online after pressing start while in the game like it did on PS3?

Are your in-game connection settings set to online? For some reason it's set to LAN by default and you have to change it everytime you get on.

Yup I always change it, also, having LAN by default is completely dumb, why would they do that, I know MP now needs PS+ but even then it just nonsense.

So a couple of us were playing BL2 last night and they all received their loyalty rewards except me despite us all transferring saves from the previous console version. I even got my bonus from the presequel but not BL2. Anyone else still having issues getting their keys and BA points?

Anybody else just starting this one Xbone? I played BL2 on 360 but don't have it anymore so I can't transfer my character. Guess I'll be starting a new Mechromancer tonight and the leveling company would be cool.

Pre-Sequel's Holodome stinks, so I'm looking for 2 other players to finish it with any time. I'm on the 4th round of it so it'd be awesome if anyone could catch up or is there already and wants to help out.

I'm on PS4 and my PSN is JxOxHxNxSxOxN

Yeah, I can't figure it out either!

I never played 1 and I didn't know that, It didn't really seem like anyone who didn't play 1 would know that from just playing 2.

Caved and bought this. Was on 360 last gen but got it on PS4 so starting fresh. PSN is CollateralCat- if anyone wants to play sometime.

Just a question, the Golden Chest items scale with your level right?

The loyalty program requires you to transfer a save, even if you never play with it.
I did not transfer my save and I got 76 SHIFT keys the moment I connected to SHIFT. You don't need to transfer anything I think. I'm on PS4 if that matters.

Then I am unsure, as the only way I received the keys for both games was to transfer my saves. Not sure how else the game would know about the loyalty. The game has been very... buggy, to say the least, so who knows.

I usually don't nitpick a game when it comes to performance and what not but wow...

Holy screen tearing Borderlands Pre-Sequel! How the hell did they think this was acceptable? I am playing by myself and this shit tears in and out of combat and constantly. Not just one and a fucking while.. ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME! Shame on you Armature for doing such a shitty job with this port.

Anyways... I have played about 5 hours of Borderlands 2 split screen and my performance is great. I would rather play split screen borderlands 2 than play The pre sequel alone on my screen. Great job Iron Galaxy with the BL2 port!

FFS.

I'm am getting sick of this inability of companies to release a game that WORKS ON DAY FUCKING ONE! I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR A FUCKING PATCH TO PLAY YOUR FUCKING GAME. ITS UNACCEPTABLE! THIS IS A FUCKING REMASTER OF A GAME FFS THAT WAS ON LAST GEN CONSOLES!

Well, I played BL2 on the 360, but didn't finish it. Is the graphical jump and improved responsiveness really noticeable when going from the 360 to the One?

GerAlt-Right. Ciriously.
I have this on Xbox One and my achievement for Do Shoot the Messenger for TPS is currently stuck in an unlocking state.

Anyone else have this problem?

That's just an Xbox One issue. I've had it happen to me a few times, don't worry, you'll get the achievement. Sometimes it my take a day or two but they always unlock eventually. They may pop (I've had them pop when watching Netflix before) but most of the times they'll just appear.
