Would have been cool if the Ant-Man movie opened this way, with Ant-Man breaking into somewhere from that arrow and Hawkeye not to be seen again. That would be a very nice cameo for Hawkeye.

Not feeling it..like at all. Seeing how even if it is at fox the marketing is going for Deadpool at least you know what you expect over there with this? Could be fun but i remain sceptical.

wishes it were bannable to say mean things about Marvel
Wow, that trailer was SOOO much better than the first one. Looks fantastic to me.

The train thing is the only interesting and fun looking part of this trailer. Everything outside of the suit looks and sounds horrible.

Everything in the trailer looks like a lot of fun with high production values. The train was just the cherry on top. Ant-man will do much better than most are expecting.

The line delivery is pretty stiff and the jokes come off stale. The only two jokes that feel like they worked were the two physical ones, i.e., the punch in the face and the train.

I dunno, "I want you to break into a place and steal some stuff" got a smile out of me.

Evangeline looks ragged when she's first shown :/

"You have superhuman strength when small". I thought it was always normal strength when small.

In Avengers 3... hopefully.

Really curious as to what the Avenger's line up will be after Avengers 2. There's always those persistent rumors about Chris Evans wanting to stop acting and become a director, and now people are saying Hemsworth wants to film the Thor 3 quickly. Might just be they'll do cameos for Avengers and stop doing solo films. Somehow I have a hard time seeing Ant-Man be a part of Avengers and more likely being his own thing like GOTG.

Without production spoilers, I'm guessing Cap and Thor might be out by Avengers 3, and we'll have Wanda, Vision, Spiderman, Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, BP and Strange? I also have a hard time seeing Cumberbatch doing a multi film deal.

That's funny. The punch gag game was weak and the line delivery on was on point.

It's pretty superhuman at that size, tbh. I think the application of pinpoint force and how momentum works on your targets when you're that size leads to some crazy stuff. I don't think he can lift cars or bust through steel but he's a strong and durable as a full grown man at the size of an ant, iirc.

I think we're gong to see everyone in infinity war, and I mean everyone, which is probably why they felt the need to split it into 2 parts.

I don't know about horrible, but I do agree the train was far and away the most interesting part. Hope the movie really gets crazy with the environments due to the shrinking powers.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.

Drains, Trains, and Purses. I think it will be fine.

Don't see how its any better than the previous trailer. Still seems to be taking itself too seriously.
It looks like the tone of the movie isn't very well reflected in these trailers. There are jokes, though it's possible that's just a product of Rudd's delivery since he's used to being in purely comedic films.

I get the impression that marvel knows how goofy this all seems at first and aren't confident they can hook people with the comedy so they've focused more on action and spectacle for the trailer. They could always do a more light hearted one later.

If this is a comedy (and it seems to be a comedy) why aren't they selling it as a comedy?

This is the same studio that made Guardians of the Galaxy a thing. Why can't they establish a coherent tone for this film? Especially when the tone they seem to be working very hard to build keeps getting undercut by the fact the movie is actually a comedy?

I'm sure the movie will be entertaining as hell. But they are not selling it very well.

I wonder what kind of sequel plans Doctor Strange and Ant-Man will have. I mean, if we follow the current plans, unless they integrate the character into other films and Avengers flicks, we won't get a sequel for a good five or six years... if ever (Incredible Hulk).

Everyone is set to go up through Avengers 3 (though not necessarily both parts...). After that, it's all a matter of who chooses to re-up and who chooses to leave. Personally, I think Evans, Hemsworth, Renner and Scarlett will end up walking afterward; Downey might too depending on how his own studio is doing by then. Jackson has said he's willing to re-sign after his contract is over, but Marvel may rather just kill off Fury instead, who knows.
