The Avengers and Winter Soldier theme are great.

Other than that though, I struggle to remember any of the original scores for MCU flicks.

It's insane the run that Marvel is on. Never seen a studio so consistently put out winners.

I wonder when they will actually have their first real miss at the Box Office. Whenever that happens I can only imagine what the threads will look like.

I sooo wanna see this again tomorrow, but I fear getting tickets is gonna be a nightmare. Specially since I'm not exactly sure at what time of the day or night I'll have the free time to go watch it.

My sister could only find front row seats for an IMAX 3D (lol rip) showing out all the theaters they checked for tickets for tonight.

Oh definitely.

You know there are a lot of people salivating, waiting for that to happen.

I think people get some of that stuff out of their system in the Marvel TV threads.

Definitely won't be before Infinity War. Ant-Man sequel, Thor and Black Panther should be fine

Maybeeeeeee Captain Marvel? If not then a new property in the next phase. I could see them struggling to keep interest when all the original heroes are retired

It'll happen someday. But we all know the GOAT was BvS's review thread. If one thread was preserved after Trump nukes us all, it'd be that i'd vote for. Confidence, Optimism, that one moment when reality hit, the 5 stages of loss, the 'I Prefer Armond White's opinions anyways', the despair. Good thing the Extended cut improved things.

Spider man is definitely going to be popular at my theater. All the showings starting at 7pm are damn near full.

Tomorrow's show times are filling up as well.

I'm sure there are, but at the same time, nobody should want to see Marvel Studios fanatics in full meltdown mode. Like asking for Hulk to fully lose control. You get hints of it here and there and you realize just how bad it'll be.

I have never seen an audience more shellshocked in a theater then when the Inhumans trailer played at my IMAX screening.

People were confused and had no clue what they were looking at, they were borderline concerned. That deal is going to do absolutely nothing good to the Marvel brand.

Could we technically count it as part of us AND the TV threads since it's going to be shown in cinemas at the start?

I will continue to pray for a swift cancellation.

The Inhumans have been through enough humilation already. Least ABC can do is put one quick bullet right in the brain after a week or two.

Eh, if it's bad, it'll fade away and people will forget about it because it's a random Friday night show. People won't even care about a 2-week limited theater run.

If it's good, then it's a pleasant surprise and we can all be happy.

You're telling me they didn't like the iconic original character: 'Black Buck' (tm)?

imma keep calling him that untill its sticks.

I cannot comprehend paying to watch that in IMAX. If anything, that trailer made me think it'd be decent viewing on a smart watch.

Frankly, i'm not prepared for the scorned MCU-fan. On the other hand, can we top XXMISTERDCMEDIAXX? You'll have to look to Ms. Marvel to fund out, boys.

Avengers could be coming off the single best run of films they've put out yet if Thor and BP deliver like I expect them to. The first flop could be a long way away.

This is making we wanna watch The Avengers again. Cut the meh car chase early on and weøre good, fam. Also just fuckin' copy/paste Tom Holland Spidey in in ther somewhere, and we're golden.

Well that car chase is like 20 seconds long, so I'm sure you can weather it lol.

You cannot convince me that wasn't Slayven pulling some Alex Jones performance art shit.

It's what happens between him blacking out and waking up in a pile of Hal x Carol fan art scribbled on Cicis Pizza receipts.

Cut everything until Iron Man shows up in Germany. Replace it with Peter miming the story in a mirror.

I'm beginning to think the 175 million also includes the marketing budget. After watching it I don't get gownall that could be production budget :/

It's not melodramatic at all, doesn't go into 'why' he has to be Spider-Man and make all these sacrifices, doesn't treat the sacrifices very seriously. It's too light and comedic to convey the fullness of the character.

You are completely and totally wrong. I just saw the movie, and you're wrong.

I just saw the most complete and perfect representation of Spider-Man ever filmed.

Man. It's been a while since I've double dipped on opening weekend, but this movie has me thinking about it.

This movie deserves a $200 million opening weekend. It's that good.

Yeah, i'm being hyperbolic. Still my favorite CBM film. Such a tight pace all the way through. I still love the member-by-member recruitment scenes. Such a great way to pull newcomers into the whole thing.

It was my first time seeing the Inhumans trailer and yikes. Me and my brother just thought "wow they're really gonna put this crap in theaters. " Thankfully Thor and Black Panther trailers were shown and saved the day.

The opening scene of The Avengers is worth it just for the build-up to the second best title card reveal in film history.

(The first best is Creed. God it's so hype.)

People say this about almost every blockbuster ever made. Films are expensive to make. $175M is not even high end for a blockbuster anymore. Factoring in USD inflation, this is the cheapest Spider-man movie ever.
