I just doubted that she ACTUALLY said she wants to ban white people. You can get the implication by the general idea of what she says (like where she says that white people were insulting minorities here on GAF), but I didn't read her saying "As long as I ban white people, I'm ok".

I wanted to see her actually having that typed.

I don't see message boards as churchs so I don't get it (I don't get religion war too by the way) but it seems to be a thing.

you seem too angry about this? Don’t let it get to you. This community is on the right track Grayson , bill of rights and evil lore know what’s up. I don’t throw the drama started and ego of EL under the rug. But he put everything out there to clear the air, was transparent, and hopefully never sell out.

This place deserves a second chance. And the fact that better ban practices have been implemented is why I believe this place will be around long after reset dies out or is changed by MOBA.

It's also interesting how they think that in the beginning the forum was transphobic and racist. I don't remember anything like that, I'd like to see the aforementioned posts.

The truth is, since their ideology is intersectionality, they DO value non-white/LGBT as more oppressed and therefore having more rights than the others. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to have an equitable approach to their moderation/admin team to basically be comprised mostly of women/non-white/LGBT people, in a way that doesn't represent the user base at all.

The idea that people need to "educate themselves" on intersectionality to just post on a goddamn video game board is ridiculous.

I was there since day 1 but the jump to ultra progressive was immediate in the gaming side. I imagine the build up was on the off-topic/etc forum.

There were even threads similar to red head appreciation there in the first year. There was even a sex thread where you can recount the sex you had in your life and it was kinda big. I stayed away from off-topic after it went more political so I don’t quite know how it came to this.
